swipe for 3 takes, 3 angles, 1 episode → let’s deconstruct episode 9 @tilimakeitseries🎬 01: THE MASTER SHOT
Uncut, take one. We shot a few more but the first one was the keeper! Shoutout to Emily Gilhooley, @sabrina.spilotro & @immersionroom for making this happen and helping us replicate the OG setting in slide 2… 02: THE ESTABLISHING WIDE
Real footage from my performance at the @theofficialdimensionsindance recital in May. I knew I wanted it in the episode before I knew where it belonged. Shot by my sister 💞 (and no, the aerial did not happen on stage whoops) 03: THE CUTAWAY/BACK SHOT
I needed something to cut to. My first instinct was stock audience footage, until I remembered @noah_zul filmed EVERY crowd on @thenextstep tour this year!! I edited those together into one jarring, chaotic wall of applause, the kind she can’t stop craving. I kept it vertical so the frame stays tight and restrictive around her. and that’s a wrap on episode 9. watch all of season 1 on @tilimakeitseries
