POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Souls of Mischief didn’t need to follow the West Coast sound — they helped expand what it could be 💎. Straight out of Oakland, Tajai, A-Plus, Opio and Phesto brought razor-sharp wordplay, interlocking flows, jazz-inflected beats and a cool, effortless chemistry that made their music feel different. Their 1993 debut, ’93 ’til Infinity, became a landmark of underground hip-hop, proving West Coast rap could be just as inventive, lyrical and sonically adventurous as anything coming out of the East 🔥🏆 But their contribution goes deeper than one timeless record. As part of Hieroglyphics, they represented an independent-minded hip-hop culture built around lyrical skill, creative freedom and control over their music. Their influence deserves to be remembered because they showed that you could be smooth without being soft, lyrical without being predictable, and West Coast without sounding like everybody else. Real heads know: Souls of Mischief weren’t just part of the ’90s golden era — they helped give it another dimension. And ’93 ’til Infinity is the proof ❤️🖤 —— Follow : @90sraparchives for more content 💎 —— #SoulsOfMischief #93TilInfinity #Hieroglyphics #GoldenEraHipHop #RealHipHopHeads Souls of Mischief brought elite lyricism, effortless flows, and a whole different flavor to West Coast hip-hop. Real ones never forget ’93 ’til Infinity.

♾️ 33 YEARS OF “93 ’TIL INFINITY” ♾️ On September 28, 1993, Oakland’s legendary hip-hop group Souls of Mischief released their classic debut album 93 ’Til Infinity. The group — Tajai, A-Plus, Opio & Phesto — gave us one of the most dopest records in ’90s hip-hop history, with the title track becoming an enduring West Coast classic. @hieroaplus @phestohierosoul @soulsofmischief @opiohierosom @rapnoir Here’s rare archival footage of the group performing “93 ’Til Infinity” on Yo! There’s nothing quite like Hieroglyphics on stage at Hiero Day. (0_0_0) The crew. The catalog. The legacy. The energy. Hiero Day was built from the culture, community, and independent spirit that Hieroglyphics has represented for more than three decades - and when the crew hit the Infinity Stage at Hiero Day 2026, it felt like everything came full circle. Nine members. One family. One movement. From the classics that helped define a generation to this newest chapter with All Said and Done, Hieroglyphics celebrated the past, present, and future with the people who have been part of the journey and the community that continues to make Hiero Day possible. All Said and Done, the story is still being written. ♾️ This is home. 📸 : @shomari7382 Every Day Is Hiero Day. ♾️ #Hieroglyphics #AllSaidAndDone #HieroCrew #BayArea #EveryDayIsHieroDay

Soul. Presence. Energy. 🎶🎸 Mereba brought something truly special with her return to the Hiero Day stage. After joining us back in 2019, she returned for Hiero Day 2026 and brought that same soulful spirit to the Infinity Stage - intimate, effortless, and powerful. Her performance created one of those moments where the entire energy of the day seemed to shift. Beautiful music. Beautiful spirit. Beautiful moment. This is what Hiero Day is about - bringing different sounds, generations, and expressions together in one space and letting the music connect us. More moments from an unforgettable Hiero Day 2026 still to come. 📸 : @shomari7382 Every Day Is Hiero Day. (0_0_0) #HieroDay #Mereba #Hieroglyphics #BayArea #EveryDayIsHieroDay

Some moments you experience. Some moments you remember. Hiero Day is both. The music. The people. The culture. The community. The energy. From every stage to every corner of The Midway, Hiero Day 2026 was alive. This wasn't just a lineup. It wasn't just a festival. It was thousands of people coming together for something we've continued to build year after year - celebrating hip-hop, independent culture, the Bay Area, and the community that has carried Hiero for more than three decades. And somehow, when you put it all together, it still feels like family. If you were there, you know. If you missed it, here's a little taste of what went down. 🎥🔥 We're not done reliving this one yet. 🎥: @shomari7382 Every Day Is Hiero Day. 93 'Til Infinity - дебютный альбом квартета Souls of Mischief (A‑Plus, Opio, Phesto и Tajai), входившего в объединение Hieroglyphics.
