My special Wonderland-themed Birthday Tea Party 🫖was one week ago today at the whimsical @madeline_garden 💐

I am so happy and grateful to my wonderful and beautiful friends for making my celebration a magical day I’ll remember forever. For years I was not sure how I would be able to organize my dream (un)birthday 🎂 afternoon tea because I did not know if I could gather a small group who would actually come, but this year I got to vibe with a whole table of my favorite friends. 🥹
I felt very loved and cherished with lots of laughter, interesting conversations, delightful tea and snacks of all kinds, and of course plenty of photoshoots around the picturesque historic home that is @madeline_garden.

I thought what better way to celebrate my special day this year than to align with a theme after my favorite Disney heroine whom I share a name with (Alicia is the Spanish version of Alice, for those who didn’t know). Ever since I was younger than she is, I felt like I understood the philosophical little girl on a deeper, almost spiritual level. I adore her wisdom and thoughtfulness that seems to be beyond her years, along with her unwavering curiosity and receptivity to stay open and face the strangeness that she encounters in Wonderland, despite her fears.

I can’t wait for all the big and small projects I plan to share to celebrate Alice in Wonderland’s 75th anniversary later this year. 🎂🫖🍄

I had the BEST DAY EVER with my amazing, beautiful Princess friends on my 28th birthday Friday, March 7th 💜✨💖

First of all, as a gift to myself I finally finished my silk Rapunzel inspired bodice I started sewing two years ago. Even though I sacrificed my sleep 🤭, getting to wear it was everything to me 🫶🏻
My special day commenced with a Disney Princess Adventures journey, where we had the yummiest treats and the most magical Princess encounters. Next, we charted off to Fantasyland where we met up with more friends for my Birthday Ball 🥰 to spend time with Rapunzel and Flynn, take photos in front of the swan topiaries 🦢, dance in Fantasy Faire, and ride the carousel 🎠

I can’t express how full my heart was this entire day. I have never felt so much love (and patience hehe) from so many directions in one day. My beautiful friend Reina (@beautybby92) made me special pink-and-purple shaded friendship bracelets to share at the ball, and my lovely Sher (@disneyprincess.style) stayed up late to make little strawberry 🍓 crunch cupcakes 🧁 that came in little purple boxes. I was given so many thoughtful gifts 🥺 and had lots of sweet conversations and fun moments with my closest friends. Love you all 🥹🥳

Stay tuned for more creations from this day, coming soon 🫶🏻
