What can I say? We have had some INCREDIBLE meet ups this year, with an overview of it all to come. But this was an absolute belter- what a way to finish the year together!

The One With The Inflatable Unicorns

Another weekend at Mendip Basecamp with the @these_girlsvan girls.

There was toboganning, walks to the pub, friendship bracelet making, silent discos and fancy dress.

I'll be honest, I wasn't on full form. I was feeling quite lost in myself and felt a bit off all weekend.

I felt quite sad coming home, with the news of there being an end in sight for TGV, my feeling of being adrift, of self criticism and social anxiety.

But @hollieandthevan said something this morning that really hit home. It's bigger than a weekend. It's bigger than 50 women in their vans. It's about the things we can achieve, it's about believing we can do things, it about learning to love yourself.

And looking through the photos and videos, and thinking hard about chats I had with friends this weekend, and especially about Hollie's words about making a promise to yourself, I realised I need to be able to see through the anxiety, the over-analysing, the post-event rumination, the feeling lonely and socially awkward and realise that I am worthy. I am enough. It's hard to push yourself and be vulnerable but look at what I found. Some bloody amazing, wonderful girls, who each have a small place in my heart.

So I thank you girls. And also to those who couldn't make this weekend, who I missed dearly.

The one where we crashed a wedding.

Unlucky number thirteen @these_girlsvan was full of calamities, everything went wrong but it was the best one yet!

The best girls ever, laughs, paddleboarding lots of talk about pelvic floors, vaginas and lemons, sunshine, drinks, Kubb, chippy tea and of course, 50 women descending upon a wedding to dance to Saturday Night!

Thank you, as ever, to the amazing @hollieandthevan for organising. We love you ❤️ And thank you especially to Aimeé, Charlie, Laura, Beccy, Sam, Jo and Sammi for making it such a special one. You filled my cup.

Another amazing time at @these_girlsvan last weekend, a lot of laughing, playing Kubb, beer festival, chippy van, crafting, vagina talks, crashing the campsite owners wedding and much much more. Thanks ladies, can not wait for the next meet up!

Last bank holiday, @tillysbimbles and myself (in Tilly) alongside 18 other van with @these_girlsvan, ventured out on a very amazing long weekend in France. We laughed so much our cheeks hurt!

Part 2 of the most epic bank holiday weekend!

Traveling back to the ferry we stopped in St Valery sur Somme. What a lovely place to stretch our legs!

Women are being expected to do more than ever, with less support. The village, for most, is dead.

Many women are holding together careers, children, homes, relationships, emotions, and everyone around them, often without anyone truly holding them.

That is why spaces like TGV Community matter more than ever.

A space for women to connect honestly, support each other fully, and feel understood by women living the same realities.

Real community changes everything. It reminds women they do not have to carry life alone.

I have always been proud of These Girls Van, but france was a turning point for me and if you are on the periphery wondering where you will fit with us, wonder no more. Get yourself booked on.
