POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I started this contract with mixed feelings.

For maybe the last four years, I haven’t really had more than a month off between contracts. And somehow the @selection_ie always manages, just when I tell myself that this time I’m finally going to take a proper break, to offer me an itinerary I actually want to do and places I actually want to see.

And then saying no becomes difficult.

For me, a good contract is never only about the ship, the itinerary, the events or the position. Of course, these are important things. But a huge and very important part of it is the people you work with.

And this year, I was lucky with the people.

From the Captain, Hotel Director, Cruise Director and Assistant Cruise Director, to the ETM, animation team, technical team, dancers, musicians, and the people working behind the scenes every single day - it was a genuinely strong team with great professionals and incredibly warm-hearted people.

I also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some great musicians during the season, including @luca_solini on drums and my @infinitygroovesduo partner in crime, mr. @zeta_sax on saxophone.

These photos are from our last Sea Destination of the season in Olbia Gulf.

After months of working together on @costacruisesofficial ‘s Pacifica , a night like this is no longer just another event on the program. You look around and realise how many different people, departments and professions are behind a few hours that, for the guests, simply look like a great party.

I can honestly say that I’m genuinely happy I got to spend this contract with these people.

A lot of work, a lot of long days, some very good nights, and a team I’ll remember.

Thank you for the great memories!

P.S. If you recognize yourself in the photos - feel free to tag yourself.

A little Silent Night trivia:

Can you guess which song had everyone singing along on the green channel?

Write your answer in the comments.

P.S. Never give @tilted_cla a microphone. He makes people lose their minds. 😂

It’s not easy to say goodbye to this.
It has been a beautiful contract and this whole team really made it special.
It’s not even the amazing places we lived, the beach, the sun, the never ending summer, the turtles, the stingrays, the random iguanas chilling around… It’s the laughters and the craziness “behind the scenes”, it’s the support, the smiles, the kindness, enjoying and being there every single moment, from the most difficult to the most beautiful ones.
It’s been the best thing to share this love and chemistry on stage, ‘cause having fun is the key to make the magic happen.
I’m ending this contract wanting more after 7 months of work, somehow I still feel fresh and renewed and I guess it’s the people that really made the difference here…
It’s part of this job saying goodbye and it’s a bittersweet beauty knowing that one day we might meet again somewhere random in the world 🌍

See you Latte,

LOTS of Love,
Luna
