The new London Calling Documentary is coming to Brighton aka Pig City at the end of the month save the date 5pm 30th May.
A tribute to the 70’s skaters who started the skateboarding revolution and helping shape and lay the foundations of the UK scene we know it today.

The London Calling Film is coming to Brighton....! A tribute to the ’70s pioneers, the fire starters that set the wheels in motion. Celebrate Brighton’s own Mark Baker being inducted into the Skateboard Hall of Fame. Stoked to be working with @levelskateboards_ @pigcity_skates and @london.calling.skateboardinguk team on this event - Save the date 30th May - Brighton Picture House 5pm 🛹🐷

Just wow, what a 4 days that many will never forget. For the lucky ones who attended some or all of the festivities of London calling, What was your favorite?

I know that’s very hard to pick one as there were so many, but to me as a skateboarder first was giving this cake by my lifelong friend @bod.boyle to the legend that is Marc Sinclair.

Bod 80/90’s London vert legend giving the 70’s London vert legend a great tribute in words and then this cake with the amazing image shot in Nov 79, it was just incredible and to be right there 🤯 this event was about the 80’s skaters saying thanks to the 70’s for inspiring us all.

Special thanks to my wife @francesdouglas for this great idea and @scienceversuslife for ordering it.

Marc and Jeremy interview shot by @cassimusfoto was a center stone of the exhibit, the zine and forum and to have all 3 there incredible.

Marc gave me a a personal gift of that fakie ollie session, I will cherish for life. What a gentleman❤️❤️ #thankyouskateboarding

Event zine available on the opening night at the @pureevilgallery there is 70 plus pages of gold in there. Credit to @scienceversuslife and @boxesandboxesofstuff for an amazing job getting new interviews and digging up photos never been seen before. Again disclaimer London Calling never meant to be a 70’s complete history and this will not be either. It’s a zine….not a book.
Other LC news, we have 3 big UK names that will be at the opening and the forum that we have not told you about yet but we are extremely excited about (1 on the panel) if you have not signed up to the 6-9pm gallery opening please do, to avoid disappointment on the night (Link on website page)We will have also have very limited @cassimusfoto prints for sale on the night of the opening by the man himself and 2 riders… we will also have the LSD vans and event shirt.
