Three years ago today we won for BEST HOLIDAY FILM @nashville48hfp and @jeanie.grindstaff was nominated for Best Supporting Actress. She was great. I loved the challenge of finding out what movie genre our film had to be and what character name and movie prop had to be in the movie(to keep people from using an already written or produced film)on Friday at 7pm and then writing, directing and producing a 4-7 minute film in 48 hours by 7pm Sunday. @jctoppins and I can say we are award winners on two projects we’ve produced. Not too shabby. And @tgpjams answered an ad I put online looking for a production assistant to help on that project. He is a musician who had never done film work and wanted to explore the industry. Instead he was thrown in as an actor and I think his character was hysterical. He did a great job. And he was the only one to answer the ad. And 3 years later we’re still friends and making movies. We are getting ready to start filming a new series next month! Just shows that you never know what your path might bring. #actor #awardwinning #friends #48hourfilmproject #hollywood #losangeles #takerisks

This is research for a project I’m producing. No seriously it is research. We were supposed to film tomorrow but guess who came down with poison ivy again from my dogs. Yup. Me. On my legs and arms but more importantly, I can’t be on camera with poison ivy up my neck and jaw! Thanks Boogie and Bella. And I’m sure @tgpjams is happy for the reschedule since he’ll be working across from me AND actually pinning my face down on the ground in a scene. My poison ivy riddled face. Haha. Management is not gonna be happy about this 😜 #dogsofinstagram #actor #writer #poisonivy #rapsnacks

Listening to @allisonbencar new record “On The Run” at @ggoddard123 studio today. These masters sound amazing. We were fortunate enough to record here last summer. Can’t wait to come back for more sessions! Stay tuned for Allies new record soon to release. #winterbreakproductions #recordingstudio #mixingengineer #audioengineer #nashville #allisonbencar #api #avid #protools #studiolife
