What a truly special day and fantastic start to our golfing season ⛳️

The “Captains drive in” was such a proud, fun and memorable day for me.

To drive off and play alongside Mr Captain Julian, Junior Captain Ellie, and President John and to have my family watching and supporting me was wonderful and a day I will always remember ⛳️

Everyone was so generous with their time in helping organising the event and donating towards our charity Tim Bacon Foundation.

Baileys At Chapel Golf Club were amazing as always for their help and hospitality and delicious food 🥘

💫Looking forward to a busy but great golfing year ahead 🏌️‍♀️⛳️

This month, we’re celebrating the incredible impact of Trusts and Foundations at Manchester Met. Today, for #ThankYouThursday, we’re proud to spotlight the @timbaconfoundation

Their generous support is funding a new PhD project in cancer prehabilitation – pioneering tailored exercise, nutrition and wellbeing programmes that help patients prepare for surgery, recover faster, and achieve better outcomes.

Thank you to the @timbaconfoundation for making this vital research possible. This important work will help more people live well with cancer.

Amazing dinner @highergroundmcr → epic party @alberthallmcr → confetti, live entertainment & Denise Van Outen on the decks 🎶

Met so many fab people, laughed loads… and yes, I strolled in at 4am with pizza in hand 🍕💃 Totally worth it.

Last night was something special.

Huge thanks to The Joshua Tree for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful evening and to everyone who contributed, celebrated, donated and danced their way through it.

Being surrounded by so many passionate people, all rallying for an incredible cause, was truly inspiring.

Dream The Impossible wasn’t just an event it was a reminder of the power of community, generosity and a little bit of magic.

We’re proud to have played a part.
Let’s keep going.
Let’s keep giving.

AUCTION !! https://www.charitybid.uk/auction/tim-bacon-foundation/dreamtheimpossible2025/item/details/1328

Hospitality at Old Trafford for two People – Manchester United Gold Package (2025/2026)

BID FOR a pair of tickets to watch Manchester United (at one of five home fixtures against other ‘big six’ teams), inside the UK’s biggest club stadium, Old Trafford.

You’ll enjoy Executive Club hospitality, with exclusive access to the 1999 Suite. A three course a la carte meal, complementary bar (spirits excluded) with half time tea and coffee and luxury padded seating.

Monies raised go to the @DianneOxberryTrust and as a charity which is run almost entirely by volunteers, every penny raised by activities such as this really makes such a difference.

We’re really grateful to the @TimBaconFoundation for including us as part of their very special event.

As we know, early diagnosis of ovarian cancer is key when it comes to improving prognosis and outcomes and money raised helps us reach out to even more people in local communities across the North West as we continue raising awareness of the symptoms to look out for.

So not only will you have an amazing time if you win one of the auction prizes, you could be helping save lives too.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting the incredible team at Permanently Unique Group and thanking them in person for taking on a remarkable challenge in support of Prevent Breast Cancer!

Together, they ran an impressive 50km in just 24 hours, completing a 10km run in each of their restaurant cities — Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Birmingham, and London — and have raised a staggering £13,000!

Permanently Unique are proudly supporting Hospitality Helps, an ongoing initiative by The Tim Bacon Foundation that brings together hospitality businesses across the North West to raise vital funds for local cancer charities. The funds raised through the Hospitality Helps campaign have helped us to come closer to our goal of opening the National Breast Imaging Academy.

We’re incredibly grateful for the Permanently Unique team’s passion, energy and continued support and we can’t wait to see what they do next!
