POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
The Seer and the Sword is nearly finished principal photography. I promise you, you aren't going to believe it.

It's the hardest thing I've ever done in my entire life by far. But it already has been the most rewarding also.

I cried so many times behind the camera at the beauty and the emotional weight of it all. Watching John go through this was difficult to witness. You won't believe it.

There are countless people to thank for bringing this to life.

It's exactly how Sebrina, John, and I had imagined.

The performances were so above what I had ever anticipated. Every frame was a painting. Andrew's cinematography was beautifully executed. The locations were meticulously selected and they were extraordinary.

Sebrina, John, and I were on the phone for 3 hours a day for 10 months straight to make sure that there wasn't a single wasted word in our script. John spent 3 full months on the wardrobe because he wanted every thread to be just right.

Vincent Guastini's special effects makeup was so good that people don't even believe the stills that Steve shot are actually from the movie.

Extra, extra special thank you to the crew who went above and beyond to bring it to life. None of it would be possible without these guys working tirelessly. Long days. Insane weather conditions. I would never be able to afford them but they came in to help. Herschel, Tommy, Doc, JR, Steve, Tim Roberts, Tim Princess Miller, Andrea, Chris, Brian, Justin, Austin, Will, Steve Squall, Myra, Ken, Kaden, Mike, Katie, Joey, Jeremy, and our entire cast. Truly a godsend. Thank you Michael Book for helping us as well. Barry, Ciaron, Lilly, Lewis, Justin, Jason, Melissa, Ellie, Cedric, Bryce.

Thank you to everyone who supported the indiegogo. Thank you to everyone who believed in me from the beginning.

TO EVERYONE WHO I BEGGED FOR HELP AND YOU GHOSTED ME, I JUST HAVE ONE LAST THING TO SAY TO YOU: thank you too. I love you still.

We’re roughly a week into production on The Seer and the Sword, a dark medieval fairytale…about a third of the journey behind us.

Watching this film come to life has filled me with a kind of pride and gratitude I lack words eloquent enough to express …but I’ll try.
Bear with me. This won’t be brief.

Sebrina poured her soul into this script. I’ve seen the toll and the devotion… the late nights, the endless calls and emails, the logistics, the emotional weight of carrying a story this personal and laboriously breathing life into it. I am thrilled and anxious for the world to behold this story on screen, so that you can all see what I have always seen, that she and her talents are truly extraordinary.

And Antonio, this began as his incredible vision. His beautiful dream. He planted the seed and nurtured it into the forest it’s becoming. He invited us into something sacred to him, trusted Sebrina to help shape it, and trusted me to carry the role of Therin. Together, they are the soul and nervous system of this production. Everything beating on this set traces back to their belief and labor.

The crew has been nothing short of inspirational. Every department is stacked with talented professional humans who care deeply, who see what we’re trying to build and believe in it. Camera, art, sound… none willing to compromise quality. Despite brutal conditions and an exhausting schedule, morale is high purely out of love for the work. I feel everyone here is proud to be the blood moving through this film’s veins. I don’t know that I’ve ever been part of a team this dedicated and passionate. To work this hard, under a budget too small, to make something so impressive, can only be done by the strength of love.

As an actor, this is the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
I knew the challenge when accepting.
The role is torturous. The cold is relentless. The days are punishing. The material deeply lacerating. But actors dream of chances to suffer and bleed to beat life into the heart of someone like Therin.

The team, I am so grateful for and humbled by you all. A village, an army, a family.
To the many difficult days still ahead…Come then.

Did a preliminary voice over gig with the fabulous @herschelzahndphotovideo captured by the amazing @timbobbbb, whom without them I wouldn’t have even had the opportunity. It’s for an animated series that’s under wraps 🤫🤭

Safe to say, it was so fun.

More to come! šŸ‘šŸ½šŸ‘šŸ½šŸ‘šŸ½
