A compilation of what happened behind the scenes while building our 10th anniversary collection, “HA? HA.MÜ!” Honestly, this was a crazy time for everyone, especially for me. Seeing 10 years of our growth come together and be presented through a 35-look collection was truly an experience. What was once just a dream that Mamu and I had when we first started HA.MÜ. To build something of our own, keep creating, and eventually see our work reach places and people we could only imagine back then has slowly become our reality. And now, we get to continue growing, dreaming bigger, and hopefully reaching even more people and some of the biggest stars. 🥹 Swipe to see some of the things I documented throughout the process, from the perspective of the person in charge of the logistics, styling, and storytelling behind this entire lineup. 🥹 A little chaotic, a little overwhelming, but definitely one for the books. ❤️‍🔥 For this collection we decided to pull out this fabric that was kept in storage for almost a decade. We also did a new version of an experimental silhouette we created back in our SS2022 collection. We also wanted to do designs featuring more skin!!! We also chose the perfect model for this look to walk down the runway hehe hello @lantinearl! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 I played around with this hand technique that I have been exploring since 2022 and I would say that this has been my best work up to date. FLUFFY AF!!!!!!!!!!! 🥹☁️ One of my favorite details to look at from the collection. Individually, they’re just shirred ruffles—but when collaged together, they come together to create this beautiful, almost painting-like design. I love how something so simple on its own can become something completely different when you put all the little pieces together. 🥹🥹🥹 Ate Jenny and Gina hello!! Hehehe Human mannequin @mamuroki fitting the piece I sewn because I needed to visualize how this will look like when worn. BRAT COLOUR YAHOOOOO!!! Texture maxxxxingggg!!!!! @mamuroki and @gl0omi packing up just some of the fluffy pieces that we had in the collection just hours before our call time weeee!! On the 4th and final day of MNL Fashion Week, HA.MU welcomed friends, family, and its community to an encanto filled forest in the heart of Metro Manila to honor and celebrate their 10th anniversary. The three-act show starts and progresses with models sporting bold patterns and silhouettes inspired by various flora and fauna. To complete the fantasy, models sported dramatic makeup paired with intense gazes to bring the creatures of the forest to life. Each look balanced the delicate with the untamed, the mystery in the reality, the exploration of innocence beneath the wildness, and the mystery of nature that endlessly inspires our creativity. Finishing off the night was “Kukur” by Proudrace, a collection deeply rooted in the brand’s signature sense of nostalgia and its exploration of Filipino identity. Known for its experimental approach to streetwear, Proudrace translated familiar cultural references into a contemporary runway language through deconstruction and unexpected proportions.
