It’s October 14th and I still haven’t worn a sweater; at this time of year, I’d usually be waiting for the heating to come on.

Anyway, here is the amazing photoshoot by @mattioli.gaia featuring a calendar I created with @timbroclone in 2022, pairing beauty with climate catastrophe. Our illustrations are inspired by real images, destructive events caused by humanity. Artists of the past could only imagine what the apocalypse would look like, whereas we can watch it unfold while having breakfast.

Featuring apocalypses by Albrecht Dürer, Michelangelo, and Judit Reigl.

Italy, Norway, Denmark and back.

I spent the last few days visiting friends and it reminded me of something:

Home is not a place. It’s time spent with people I love.

Is that true for you too?

Thanks to everyone who opened their door, shared a meal, or made time to see me 💙

Wind blows on Copenhageners’ faces at –14°C today, and my mind goes back to three years ago, when I was living in Milan.

Back then it was 20 degrees warmer, but pollution was so intense that puddles turned into rainbows. Literally 🥲

This calendar was a collaboration between me and my talented friend @timbroclone :
6 illustrations each.

The theme was the sublime beauty of climate crisis imagery.

Here’s my February.
Stay warm.

WE NEED YOU 🙏
We’re trying to spread the word about our initiative to support independent pubs - and we’ve started creating a few ads to help! 📣
A kind friend helped us by acting in our first video (some of you may have seen it!), and now we’d love to feature a real couple.

Many of those who buy our Pubs Collection are couples who love discovering independent businesses and new areas together – so we’d love to capture that spirit properly and help more lovebirds discover our concept!

It would just be a two-hour shoot in London, super relaxed, and of course, drinks are on us! 🍻

If you and your partner are up for a fun afternoon (or know a couple who might be), send us a DM! ❤️

Let’s go to independent pubs!

@bbclondon has highlighted Support an Independent Pub Day, launched by @londonpubexplorer and @city_stack. This initiative was created to support independent pubs and help Londoners socialise within their budget all year round!

Hope, the bubbly manager of @thehornofplentypub, Alistair from @londonpubexplorer, and Alison, the Founder of @City_Stack, have been interviewed by @leighmilnertv to discuss the challenges independent pubs like the Horn of Plenty face - especially during Dry January - and how we can show support.

A big focus was placed on our London Pub Collection, the perfect gift for pub lovers 😍. Our £25 stack of beer mats gives you £100 worth of food and drink at amazing independent pubs across London. Each pack comes with a special beer mat to show at any ten of the 70 independent pubs in the collection. Have it stamped to get £10 off your bill - collect 10 stamps, save £100!

CityStack also offers a fun and interactive experience, complete with a map and a set of collectible, informative beer mats to learn more about a fantastic selection of London pubs.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the initiative and helped achieve the target for pint sales!

Let’s go to independent pubs! 🍻
