🏆 A HUGE congratulations to @Zana_Mohlmann, representing Singapore, who was crowned the 2026 WORLD CLASS GLOBAL BARTENDER OF THE YEAR!!! 👏👏👏

Before the winner was crowned, the Top 12 finalists faced one final challenge…THE TOP TABLE!

Each bartender had to serve and entertain a table of four industry experts, showcasing not just their cocktails but their hospitality skills. And I actually got to sit at one of those tables as a JUDGE! What an experience! 🤯🍸

But that wasn’t the only highlight of the day! When @worldclass Global Finals comes to Edinburgh, you KNOW @JohnnieWalker is going to bring some incredible experiences! 🥃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

First, we got a special tasting inside the Johnnie Walker Vault, featuring their newly released luxury Scotch whisky crafted by Master Blender Dr. Emma Walker.

Here’s a CRAZY fact: There are approximately 20 MILLION casks of Scotch whisky maturing in Scotland, and Dr. Walker has access to MORE THAN 10 MILLION of them to select from! 🤯 Talk about having the ultimate whisky library!

Then we explored The Johnnie Walker Experience on Princes Street. EIGHT stories of immersive storytelling, theatrical production, and whisky history brought to life. It felt more like a Broadway production than a traditional whisky tour! Absolutely stunning!

THIS is the kind of experience that sets World Class apart as so much more than a bartending competition!

If you thought @worldclass Global Finals was JUST a bartending competition…think again!

Here’s what ONE DAY in Edinburgh looked like! 🤯

🍸 TWO martini legends, @agodragos of @theconnaught & @alessandro_palazzi of @dukeslondon came together for a @tanqueraygin masterclass, sharing how they craft their iconic martinis!

🌮 @lorenzoantinori_ of @barleonehk, ranked the #1 bar in the world for the second year in a row, hosted an incredible @donjuliotequila dining experience, pairing three of his cocktails with a chef’s specially crafted dishes!

🥃 @ZacapaRum treated us to a special pour of its new 50th anniversary release!

🍹 @armanigabriele & @giacomoloris_ from @Paradiso_Barcelona brought their creativity to Edinburgh with the “Blue Manhattan,” crafted with @JohnnieWalker Blue Label!

Oh, and did we mention there was ALSO a competition happening???

🇺🇸 World Class US 2026 Bartender of the Year @lexiortegaa took on the @tanqueraygin ICONOLOGY challenge and WON his group! 👏

And that’s just ONE DAY! 😯

THIS is what makes World Class more than a competition. It’s an experience every bartender should have on their bucket list!

We had an incredible opportunity to visit the Diageo Archives with the world class global champion family.

Each of us got to contribute an artifact from our respective years of competition that we used on stage.

Very cool to be part of this storied history 💕

#Ad Always such an honour and a delight to be heading back to Judge Global @worldclass. The thrill of cheering 51 contestants from around the globe, gunning for the world title is unmatched.

Being a @worldclass jury is an honour and a privilege but it is also a great responsibility, with the competition, with the brands, the organisers and of course with all the bartenders who will be competing to be the best.

In 2012 I was a guest at the global Final in Rio de Janeiro, in 2013 I was the Global winner and it changed my life, and since 2014 I have been a jury every year. And every year I look forward to this super special moment of being with the family of global winners, with all the incredible juries, with friends from all over the world and discovering new talents …..

I wish the best of luck to all the bartenders and above all that they enjoy.....it will be a wonderful week, see you in Scotland.

One of my favourite Johnnie Walker releases, the Master’s Cut.

Created by legendary former Master Blender Dr Jim Beveridge OBE, this remarkable and beautifully balanced blend brings together whisky from just two distilleries, Cameronbridge grain whisky and Roseisle single malt.

Released in 2023 following Jim’s retirement, only 1,000 bottles were made. More importantly, Jim described it as his final Johnnie Walker blend, a fitting conclusion to an extraordinary four decade career spent shaping some of the most recognisable whiskies in the world.

Elegant, layered and carrying a wonderful piece of Johnnie Walker history, this is one I always enjoy returning to.

A cocktail inspired by a night in the Trolltunga

A few months ago, I had the chance to travel to Norway with the @himkok.oslo team and experience Trolltunga. It was one of those trips where the place, the people and the moments stay with you long after you leave.

This cocktail was born from one particular night — inside our tent, after a long day in the mountains.

@shaywaterworth was making hot chocolate for everyone, adding a splash of Johnnie Walker Black Label and whipped cream.

Johnnie Walker Black Label as the base,
a dark chocolate liqueur inspired by the chocolate we ate in the tent, a Moka coffee cordial, and a sour cream with grated chocolate, inspired by the chocolate bars we carried and ate in the mountains.
