POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Steps that refuse to announce themselves, then a forest that arrived a year early.
Side A counts silent steps so quietly the floorboards agree not to tell, loses a microlith before you notice, sketches four corners with no furniture, hides a small modernist house in the woodland, skims the surface and refuses the basement, and runs a film that never quite developed. Side B ties up under its own wind at a jetty grown on purpose, sees space invaders double and misses them, builds a reef from harmonics no one may stand on, leaves a green needle that will not say which word it is, threads blood through a low-lit labyrinth, and dates a midnight forest 2025 inside timestreams dated 2026.
Overall mood: Quiet, slightly uncanny, and carefully unfinished — full of small stones, half-cleared paths, and trees that have not been told which year they are in. Perfect for dusk listening, houses hiding in woods, or sitting still while the next spool still waits.

Side A
Mood mist: steps that refuse to announce themselves, stones smaller than a minute, squares that have given up being rooms, a house hiding in trees, land seen only from above, a film that never quite developed.#trevladsounds #electronicmusic #ambientmusic #spacemusic #mixcloud

A late-summer, slightly haunted ambient journey through holiday kickoff, last dances, and worlds still demon-haunted.
Side A opens with Sally’s dream-pop song, then sits suburban and cooked, wishes it was fishing, takes the last summer dance, lands on the rocks, and drifts beatless through rare-earth motherboards.#trevordotse #ambientmusic #mixcloud #experimentalmusic

December 16 – Time Rival

Right then, we have Time Rival, which is the work of Michael Southard, operating out of Richmond, Illinois. His album, Sky Blue, Pale Rose, released on October 28, 2025, is a gorgeous trip into cross-genre electronic, ambient, electroacoustic & experimental music.
This collection is structured as a gorgeous wordless musical poem with nine tracks, including ‘Culvert,’ ‘Keystone Landing,’ and ‘Days of Dust’. Southard mentions that the album can be considered two separate EPs, offering two complementary sides to his production style, with the second half being much more subdued than the first. The music itself feels washed in a golden lather, giving the meticulous production a spontaneous organic sense.
Michael Southard is incredibly prolific; he states that he records two or three new tracks every week. This high output means he always has a big backlog; he had about 45 tracks to choose from when shaping Sky Blue, Pale Rose. This immense productivity is likely why subscribers get access to this release plus 49 back-catalog releases.
The inspiration is rooted in place and experience; for instance, ‘Keystone Landing’ references a boat landing on the Nippersink Creek near his home, and ‘Culvert’ was inspired after he admired one outside a hotel in Toronto. This is fantastic, deep listening music.#electronicmusic #ambientmusic #spacemusic #electronica #experimentalmusic
