THINGS I’VE BEEN WORKING ON ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Thinking Without Overthinking.

I used to spend so much energy wondering, Am I doing this right? Was that wrong? What are people thinking? I would come off the platform in an anxious mess. Now I’m learning to think from a different place.. What does this room need right now? What is God doing? The first kind of thinking comes from insecurity. The other comes from confidence, awareness, and being present.

Sometimes a note may be a little ugly. Sometimes something may not land exactly how I wanted it to. I’d rather remain authentic and present than become so technically calculated that I disconnect from what’s actually happening in the room.

The goal is precision without losing authenticity.

Out and back to a gorgeous venue in Pittsburgh yesterday was well worth it to see another happy bride and groom and a packed dance floor!!

Kudos to the incredible musicians that make this band the best in the business; I’m feeling extra grateful for every opportunity to be on stage with you all!

Wow… 37 feels like a whole new chapter. I’m feeling grateful for every lesson, every challenge, and every moment that has shaped me. Looking back, there’s so much I’ve learned — about myself, about life, and about what truly matters. Looking ahead, I feel excited, hopeful, and ready to embrace everything this next year has in store. I’m embracing growth, joy, and all the little wins along the way.
