•••>🌿2025 Amazon Medicine Immersion Journey🍃<•••
With so much joy, heart nourished, healed and expanded, filled with so much gratitude and love, we completed this year’s journey to the Amazon this week. What a tremendous honor to exchange not only with Ronnin our Shipibo teacher, but also her son Milke, our Andean Q’ero teacher Fermin and Mama Rosa! Infinite gratitude to our hostess’, my dear soul sister Selva, Rosita and everyone else who supported us during this beautifully transformative journey!🍃🙏🏽♥️🙏🏽🍃

Grateful to have chosen an incredible human to marry… and to divorce.

I’m proud of the way @timfalls and I love each other — always supporting each other’s spiritual growth. Since our meeting in 2015 and first date in 2016, we’ve nurtured a beautiful connection rooted in communication, transparency and healing that offered me more safety, freedom and love than I had ever known.

We always knew each stage of our relationship, like everything else in life, is impermanent. My awareness and acceptance of that certainly kept me grounded through one of the most painful and difficult chapters of my life — when we chose to end our marriage two summers ago, and when I left the home we had created in California with our fur baby, Finn. I’m grateful for our connection which we held (and continue to hold) tenderly through this journey, offering an experience that, despite hurting so much, has also been full of love, grace, compassion, growth, support and humor.

Now, with the divorce finalized and our single statuses “restored” tomorrow (so bizarre), it feels like the worst is behind us. We now have the incredible opportunity to enjoy and nurture a friendship rooted in trust, respect, unconditional love, tons of super positive memories, and of course, Finn.

The appropriate response is not, “I’m sorry,” or “Congratulations,” but “Well done” or “Good work.” Tim and I navigated ourselves here without an example to model after, only a hopeful idea we had in our minds and hearts that became our North Star. We got here in spite of waves of comments of judgment and doubt, mostly from people who don’t know us, which stung more than I care to admit. We’ve each been through some heavy shit in our lives and have the scars to prove it, but this one, for me, was the hardest. And yet, here we are, two individuals who could have hardened themselves, but instead our hearts are more soft and open to love than when we began.

I share this because our wish is for this model of endings to become normalized. To be a genuine option. It is indeed possible. Thank you, Tim, for showing me that. And thank you to our loved ones who always had and continue to have our backs.

Little detour before heading back to NYC: 48 heart-centering hours with the Falls fam. 🐶👨🏻‍🌾 So insanely grateful that this is what divorce can look like.
