We take things seriously here. Progress, professionalism, and the passion for what we do, but we also work to not forget the importance of having fun along the way. ❤️

Here’s your little reminder to smile and embrace the day-to-day process of it all, in and out of the studios! 😘

From today’s class with Mr. Tim Fox.

If you told me three years ago I’d willingly choose to wear a white leotard, I’d be shocked!

It’s crazy how much my confidence has grown as a dancer. Still working on it, but I’m a lot less worried about how I look and a lot more focused on how I feel when I dance. 🤍

She clearly didn’t get her grace, skill and moxie from her mother (well, maybe her moxie).

But boy, oh boy-does she have grace, skill and moxie.

She is my beautiful, brave, bold ballerina. And while she is a mature young lady with the most wonderful future ahead of her, I will always, always, always think of her as my little peanut.

She knows how to ara-freakin’-besque like no other.

Beautiful photographs by @vbastianphotography and @triciapphotography.

Just when we thought we couldn’t be prouder…

Thankful to @balletchicago for providing our daughter and entire family with an exceptional summer intensive ballet program sure to be unmatched by any experience our sweet ballerina has endured to date, including (but not limited to), learning the beauty of Balanchine from the legendary @ashleybouder (I know, right???)

Just as thankful to our incredible extended family at @philadanceacademy, which has laid the solid foundation for our girl to enter new challenges and adventures with a level of confidence, strength, grace and fortitude which will forever endure, as well as @cpyballet, which has prepared her through phenomenal summer intensives to date.

Truthfully, also incredibly thankful to have our bean home finally. (Whew! Is this what college is going to be like???)

14 years of training, 228 pairs of pointe shoes…

What started as the dream of a four-year-old in her first ballet class has become the beginning of a professional career. I am thrilled to share that I will be joining Boston Ballet II for the 2026/2027 season!🩰✨

This is a dream come true and I am so grateful and excited to begin my professional career with Boston Ballet under the direction of Mr. Mikko Nissinen, Mr. Joan Boada, and all of the incredible faculty, staff, and artists of Boston Ballet! It is an honor to become a part of the @bostonballet family!🫶🏻🫶🏻

There are so many people who have been part of my journey over the past 14 years and I want to take this opportunity to thank each of them as this moment would not have been possible otherwise!💗

First, to all of the staff @hathawayballet , especially @lindahthwy and @asakofandrich , thank you for providing my ballet foundation. From my first ballet class to the moment I received my first part of pointe shoes, I have so many fond memories and it is during those years that I fell in love with this beautiful art form.

To @emily_iva @mckinneymovementcenter , thank you for being one of my biggest cheerleaders, an incredible mentor, and the best Pilates/Gyrotonics instructor I could hope for. As one of the unexpected blessings of COVID, you have watched me grow up since I was 11 years old! You have been part of my pre-professional journey from the very beginning encouraging me to grow both in and outside of the studio. I truly cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for me over the years.

Next, I would like to thank the staff @ballet_academy_of_texas , particularly, Ms. Lisa Slagle, for both believing in me and challenging me as I began my pre-professional training. I am grateful for your continued support even after you stepped away from full-time teaching.

The rest of my post is continued in the comments!😘

Congratulations to each of these teachers for choosing to keep learning and investing in the future of their students. We are so happy to welcome you to the 4Pointe family.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible demonstrators for bringing the work to life throughout the certification, and to Stacey's Dance Studio for their generosity and hospitality in making this training possible.

Three days down and officially halfway through our Summer Intensive!

These dancers have been pushed physically, mentally, and artistically, and they continue to show up ready to work. It’s a demanding week, but they’re meeting every challenge with grit, focus, and determination.

We’re incredibly proud of everything they’ve accomplished so far. Three more days to go and we can’t wait to see how much more they’ll grow. Let’s finish this week strong!
