Now that New Balance Nationals comes to a close, the high school season is officially over. I couldn’t be more proud of this group.

Some of the things we set out to achieve got away from us, and others we absolutely crushed. That’s the nature of the sport, but through all of it, the hard work and dedication never wavered.

To my athletes: thank you for showing up, grinding, and trusting the process. This season was a reflection of all of you.

@seannahparsons & @masyiah.cionne leave new balance nationals earning all-American honors finishing 2nd & 4th respectively. Ma’syiah all crushed her previous PR and broke the 41’ barrier. Way to go ladies!!

To all the other coaches & athletes: thank you for the memories. The conversations on the infield, the thrillers that came down to the wire, the moments that reminded us why we love this sport. You made this another season to remember.

Track & field is a community, and I’m grateful to compete alongside, learn from, and battle with the best. Until next time. 🤝 Shout out to the NJ Ladies making up 5 of 8 finalists in the Girls triple jump and 4 of 6 all Americans being NJ jumpers congrats ladies @morganholley2027 @timia._waters on your new PRs and honors was fun to watch yall as well.

Now it’s time for some well-earned R&R. Then we gear up for off-season training and come back better.

thank you @bravesxctf for the best 4 years💙

Even though the end of my season was far from perfect I'm still so grateful to have been a part of this team. Our 4×800 ran a school record, our dmr ran a meet and school record, and I ran the US #1 time in the 3k steeplechase two years in a row.

Getting sick at the worst possible times for weeks on end made a big chunk of my meets difficult and often left me upset. But sickness aside, this sport gave me my best friends and memories I'll never forget. Through every race, long run, hard workout, early morning, and late night, I've made memories and friendships I'll carry with me forever.

To my teammates, friends, coaches, and family, thank you for supporting me all throughout this journey. Thank you for trusting me to be your captain these past two years, it has been an honor. I'm incredibly proud to have worn braves blue.

4 laps left, nationals🔜
