Just some moments and people I am always thankful for. Thank you to my grandparents who raised me and the family who has supported all my hopes and dreams. Thank you to my friends and coaches who never gave up on me, even when I did. I wish I had photos of everyone who has left a positive impact on my life. I wouldn’t be where I am today without your love and support. Happy thanksgiving 🤎🧡

What a season! It started slow, but it turned out to be an unforgettable ride. I’m proud of the progress I made and the lessons I learned. Huge thanks to everyone who supported me through the tough times, and never gave up on me when I did. Your encouragement kept me going and helped me to achieve the things I did. I learned to overcome mental blocks, trust the process, and believe in myself. I figured out that sometimes, it’s okay to take a step back and let yourself rest. My favorite memory from this season is winning 4x200 at nationals with my team , as it felt like we were one. It reminded me that we’re more than just teammates; we’re a family who celebrates everyone’s wins. If you told me in January that I’d make it to where I am, I wouldn’t have believed you as I was on the verge of quitting. I now know success comes when you trust yourself and enjoy the journey. I can’t wait for the next season with this amazing team 💚🤍

More than an athlete ❤️💚💛

Timi Adelugba is always a step ahead, both on and off the Track. Throughout her 5 years in the green and white, she has formed lifelong friendships, and left a legacy of what it means to be a true Huskie with @huskietfcc

As a Master’s research student at @usask Timi is currently studying transportation and its impact on healthy aging.
