Appreciation Post 💙

It’s been just a week since the launch of Live Your Design, and honestly, I’m still in awe. The success has been amazing, but what’s even more beautiful is the people behind it all, my community, my tribe. 🫶🏽

How it started:
@globaljanet you fuelled this idea during a random KFC lunch and held me accountable with those tough deadlines 😅
@tomioluwatusin those long voice notes and constant push to make the idea make sense. You rock!

The Live Your Design Team:
@theleshimercy best manager ever! You carried this like it was your own.
@thee.lare the creative genius behind all the beautiful designs you’ve seen.
@oluwapelumithecompere for getting publishing rolling and believing the content was worth it.

My backend reviewer 🤎 @isaiahobadare for the sharp eyes, motivation, and excellence all through.

My Tribe:
@timii_lade my rant buddy and cheerleader, always on my side 😅
The Deborahs @bukoladanielechoga @dianicrochetfashion @tolacreate @princess_mak20 for launching me into content creation (way out of my comfort zone!).
@_yisola_ for the check-ins, sponsor hunts, and encouragement.

My European core @esther_olonimoyo @ogundare_signs always checking that I wasn’t losing it with all the workload 😅

My big uncles and aunties @gold_builders @olajumoke_ruth @isaiahobadare @globaljanet @esther_olonimoyo For reading the raw drafts and still giving honest, beautiful reviews.

And of course…
My bloodline! @_elerenewskool @adetutu_tessa @the_engrdorcas My ride-or-dies who encouraged and brainstormed marketing strategies from day one. You all ROCK! 🔥

This project has been months of work, tears, and joy — and I’m grateful for everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

Live Your Design is still up for grabs 📖💫
🔗 Link in bio to get yours!

CharaKids Foundation is not connected in any way to the reports currently circulating.

To set the record straight, our team visited Sunview Hotel, the alleged venue, and confirmed that our organization was not part of the programme.

Our mission remains focused on sustainable development goals 2, 3 and 4, not child labour or advocacy. Thank you all for your continued support.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT — PUBLIC NOTICE

CharaKids Foundation’s attention has been drawn to recent reports in circulation linking our organization to a programme in Akure connected to the case of a missing man. These reports, published by some media outlets, are inaccurate and misleading.

We wish to state categorically that CharaKids Foundation has no affiliation with Trace Project and was not involved in the said programme in any capacity. Our last outreach was our Children’s Day event in May 2025 at Emure-ile, Owo, Ondo State, and we have not organized or participated in any programme since then.

At CharaKids Foundation, we focus strictly on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2, 3, and 4 — Zero Hunger, Good Health & Well-being, and Quality Education. We do not run Child Advocacy initiatives or Child Labour-related programmes, as these are outside our mission.

We are currently conducting our own investigations and engaging relevant stakeholders to ensure this misinformation is corrected. For clarification or to share credible information, please reach us directly via charakidsfoundation@gmail.com.

We remain committed to our vision of putting smiles on children’s faces and appreciate the continued trust and support of our community.

I have seen and I have heard. I have loved and I have lived. And I have never experienced something more rewarding than making a human genuinely smile. 🥹

@charakidsfoundation believe healthy children are joyful children so the team spent the just-passed Children Day's spreading joy to the kids from three different schools at Emure Ile, Owo, Ondo State. ❤️

Game sessions, choreographyyy, dance sessions, foods and drinks too, of course and ultimately gifts that makes learning and living easier. It was pure bliss for them! 🫶

Forever, forever grateful for such platform and the opportunity to work with the sweet, passionate and focused people of Charakids Foundation ❤️

I'm always reminded that we do charity because every child deserves hope. 🥺❤️
