We who are about to build salute you, @timlydy !

Tim's Murmillo gladiator is an incredible feat of character work, with muscles and armor so clean and seamless. The helmet is a highlight with its complex grille design, and the cloth wraps make it easy to forget you're looking at LEGO. 👍 or, as my Junior Classical League teacher reminded us was the Emperor's true sign of mercy 🤛

I suppose this is an Iceberg Lounge Moc update, because the idea of adding Solomon Grundy underneath the build was suggested to me and after I saw this design on Rebrickable by @timlydy, I know it was going to be a good idea.
-
Even though it looked really cool, I wasn't sure on how sturdy it was going to be with all of the angles it has, but it is in fact very durable and has lots of posability.
-
For anyone else interested in building this, I've shown him alongside some other bigfigs so you have an idea of scale. And finally, I've put a link to this in a highlight titled "GRUNDY" if you're interested in the free instructions.

I found a giant Lego replica of the Emerald City and Defying Gravity from Wicked!!

The build was done by @timlydy so please go check him out!

This massive Emerald City build caught my eye instantly when I was at a Lego convention and was by far one of the best things I’d seen all weekend.

The attention to detail was incredible, and I love the swarm of flying monkeys which could actually fly too! The extra long capes on Elphaba really set the scene and I’m so happy to see Wicked getting some love.

The iconic shot of Elphaba flying above was also incredible, and the green lightning effect really topped it off.

I’d love to revisit building Wicked later this year and try to do something to this level though I doubt it will turn out anything as cool as these builds 💚

Danger Room

Inspired by the works of @timlydy and @br.ickelangelo

Credit to @punchandjewelee for the Magneto

The photos aren't the best, but I'm incredibly proud of this. It's not a traditional danger room, but my own spin on it.

Brickworld Grand Rapids 2024

Here are some of my favorite builds at this years show. I’ve tagged everyone I found handles for, be sure to let me know if I missed someone. Unfortunately due to so. many. kid. activities. I wasn’t able to spend as much time at the show as I would have liked to, so I didn’t get around it in great depth. I tried to highlight things I hadn’t seen before and of course I’ll show you all the fun Johnny Thunder appearances I saw come Thursday.

LEGO Scala Murder Mystery. Yes it feels strange putting all of those words into a title for a build, but the Eurobricks collab group never does anything that is not just a little bit strange. This build was one of our favorite over the past years of building with Eurobricks mainly due to the scale and the ridiculousness of it all. I’m also super proud of Maria taking the lead on our sections, she had fantastic ideas and executed well despite being frustrated at times. Grats to our fellow builders on another large group collab, looking forward to many more. #lego @eurobricks_official #brickworld #scala
