We are thrilled to announce the screening of "Learning to Fly" directed by @timmauger and with the participation of @jackfromtown for Q&A in our local community cinema in Crozon on Thursday 15th of October 2026! ✍️ "Foiling’s most influential riders bring to life a familiar story; becoming kooks again, questioning what they thought they knew about surfing, and rediscovering the joy, freedom, and shared spirit that drew them to surfing in the first place." Thank you to the Rex Cinema in Crozon for having us, This special night will also feature the movie STEP UP from Clément Roseyro and Arthur Picard. 🇫🇷 Nous sommes heureux d'annoncer la première diffusion mondiale de Learning to Fly, un film du réalisateur Tim Mauger qui retrace le parcours de plusieurs surfeurs professionnels autour du monde qui ont appris par le foil à re-débuter un sport et reconnecter avec l'étincelle qui les avait animé en surf par le passé. Le film sera diffusé le jeudi 15 octobre 2026 à 19h au Cinéma Le Rex de Crozon en présence de l'athlète hawaiien Jack Ho dont ce film de 20 minutes raconte l'histoire. La soirée proposera également la diffusion du film "STEP UP" du surfeur de grosses vagues Clément Roseyro, champion de l'épreuve de Nazaré 🇵🇹 également présent sur place.

Summer is literally upon us. ‘Sound on’ as it’s worth listening this re-written Ode to Joy for Drumstick. Ironically, the original isn’t very joyful at all, TBH it actually sounded like Beethoven was having a full emotional meltdown. Which somehow made it perfect. (Also how good is a Gold Coast shoot!)
