🇳🇱Lil Timmie

He is a young Dutch artist from Groningen.

His music is that Dutch underground rap we barely get anymore. A unique blend of absurd swagger, dark humor, monstrous ego, and a strangely touching sincerity. He invented the character of « swaggerboy2005 », talks about Timdonesia like it’s a real country, calls himself « Timmy for president », « André Rieu van het noorden », « the real swaggerboy »... and yet it never feels forced. It’s natural.

It’s just him. He created a larger-than-life character and fully inhabits it, without ever seeming like he’s playing a role. He’s cool in a twisted, almost awkward way, and that’s exactly what makes him likeable.

The production feels a bit broken, a bit raw, which fits his personality perfectly. The tracks hit hard with choruses that stick. « Zin » is catchy and melodic, « Timboektoe » is fun and teasing, « Atoombom » and « Northside » are more aggressive and swagger, « Haha » and other tracks from swaggerboy2005 (2) or TIMFLATION have that chaotic, addictive energy.

He’s quietly building his world, album after album: TIMMY4PRESIDENT in 2024, TIMFLATION in 2025, the swaggerboy2005 EPs... You can feel he has a vision, that he’s really having fun with it, and that it’s all going to grow at its own pace.

He’s a raw, pure and authentic nugget, he built his own identity and it’s so strong you recognize him in two seconds.
