Recently, we had the pleasure of being part of Conscious Connects 2026 at @campbelltownartscentre!

An incredible day bringing together artists, creatives and music industry professionals to learn, collaborate and make real connections.

Our Mentor Academy crew was right in the thick of it!

🎙️ @timomaticmusic delivered “The Art Of Live Performance” workshop AND hit the stage to perform.

🎙️ Cathy Nguyen from @newgenartistry__ shared her knowledge and experience through an industry workshop.

Massive shoutout to another one of our mentors, @lfreshthelion, and his team at @villageboy.ent for helping bring such an important event to life.

What we love about events like this is that the learning and connections don’t have to stop when the day ends.

We had an all-star line up at this year’s Conscious Connects at @campbelltownartscentre. It’s our flagship annual music industry intensive where everything is built around the idea of being able to come in and leave with something practical that you can apply as soon as you get home. It’s not lectures, panels, and presentations. It’s where you come to get your hands dirty, participate and connect with likeminded people from all across Sydney.

My company @villageboy.ent is a proud program partner for @conscious_cac. We are always thinking about how we can push the scene further and find ways to really support artists and music industry workers, both established or aspiring.

Made possible by those who came and contributed on the day, from our facilitators to everybody who participated on the day. The Arts Centre team are the true MVPs for the endless amount of energy and effort they put in to making this all possible.

Announced today is the full cast for the new Australian production of Moulin Rouge! The Musical, returning to Sydney in March 2027.

Announced today In the role of Satine will be Erin Clare , Nigel Huckle as Christian and Reuben Kaye as Harold Zidler.

The cast will be joining the previously announced Ben Hall, who steps into the deliciously villainous role of The Duke of Monroth, Tim Omaji reprising his acclaimed performance as Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec , Tyler Chapman will make his professional musical theatre debut as fiery Argentinian bohemian Santiago, while the dynamic Thalia Smith is stepping into the spotlight as Nini and Calista Nelmes as the Satine Alternate.

The extraordinary ensemble members are Joshua Russell (Principal Cover Christian/The Duke), David Duketis (Principal Cover The Duke/Santiago/Zidler), John Rex Berry, Sarah Bourke, Bridgette Coach, Emma Feliciano, Louis Fontaine, Anthony Garcia, Alfie Gledhill, Sebastian Johnston, Adam Lyon, Sebaga Neumann, Bella Runnalls, Jordan Tomljenovic, Lucas Van Rhin and Jennifer Wolfe.

Joining them as spectacular swings are Bayley Edmends, Brittany Ford, Sara Haruta, Lachlan Inwood, Jayden Prelc, Emma Russell, Callum Ryan and Nicole Vella.
