So to start this off, this is a very hard post for me to make. I’ve shared parts of my story with people. But never to a whole platform.

Today I turn 20 years old, I didn’t plan on making it past 16. I have had anxiety almost my entire life, when I was in elementary school I was also diagnosed with ADHD, which made learning difficult. In middle school I was diagnosed with severe depression. I have gotten some other diagnoses since then. I have been through a lot, and while I don’t want to share that completely, I will say that I have been hospitalized on several occasions. I have self harmed, and attempted to take my life. Last month is the first month in over 5 years that I felt okay consistently. And it took a lot of hard work to get there. Lots of trial and error, and lots of time. I’m not 100% happy, but in all of my effort to get 100% happy, I’ve realized that is not realistic, because there will be tough days, there will be tough times, but what is different about this time, I have the skills to get through the tough times instead of falling deeper into them.

Music has been a really really big part of my journey, that’s why I tagged those artists because they are apart of an even bigger amount of artists that helped me get to this point in my journey. I’ve talked to some of them, and messaged them back, and some of them don’t even know I exist. But that doesn’t change the fact that I wouldn’t be here without them. In this new decade and new chapter of my life, I am making it my goal to put out music, so I can share my story, and help others through music just like all of these artists.

And finally I wanted to say thank you to all of my family, and all of my friends. I am sorry for what I put you through, I am sorry for pushing you away, and I am sorry for trying to leave you all forever. But from the bottom of my heart, thank you to those who stuck through it all with me.
This is to my 20’s and my new and improved life and way of living.

To those that are struggling, and feel alone. Things will get better, it will take time, but they really do. I know that’s not what you want to hear, because for the longest time I didn’t believe it. But they will.

Fell in love with this song the second I heard it. Wish it was a little longer just like the finer moments in life. Had a blast building the track ❤️ @timosargent - “Removing every text I sent” #music #cover #recording #inmyroomrecords #feelz #iwish #hopeitsfixed

SO happy with the response this record is getting right now! Two months ago, I wasn’t even thinking about making music. After my friend Marwan passed, I was in a dark place mentally and my creative vibe was nonexistent. A conversation I had with him and a realization that life is too short to not chase after something you’re passionate about, sparked something in me I’ve never felt before. A burning drive and desire to maximize my time on earth, leave my mark and inspire people to do the same. It’s almost like he’s here pushing me along...I’m listing him in the credits for everything I drop moving forward and there were alot of other people who helped me behind the scenes with this record... @dose.media is handling all my artwork and marketing and he’s an absolute creative genius! @peterjackson905 is a legend in the Canadian hip hop scene and has been a mentor of mine for the past year. He’s helped put so much together behind the scenes that I would never be able to get done by myself. @timosargent inspired me to step outside my comfort zone and helped in the writing process of this record. He’s easily one of the best I know with a pen 🖊 @karlwolfs brought the summer vibe to life with the vocals and he absolutely killed it💯 @accent.beats produced the last song I had on radio and when I heard this beat I knew it would fit for that summer vibe record that I’ve never really made in the past... This is just the start of what’s to come! I’m on a mission to do something special and I’m thankful for anyone supporting along the way 🙏🏼 STREAM CAKE ON ALL MAJOR DSP’s🍰🍰🍰 VIDEO coming SOON🎥⚡️
