If I have learned one thing this summer it would be that God is in the business of transforming hearts. This transformation is a gift that is free and open to all and is made possible through Jesus Christ.

Romans 12:2 says “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

I wanted to play professional basketball overseas after my senior year, but this summer God transformed my heart. Instead of going off to play basketball in a foreign country, God had something far greater, bigger, and better than I could have ever imagined or planned for myself.

I went from wanting to pursue a life that fulfilled, glorified, and brought attention to myself for the achievements I accomplished, to pursuing a life that serves Christ. A life that is obedient to Him, and that glorifies His name above my own.

This summer He has spoken to me in ways I wouldn’t have ever heard Him before. He has taught me things I didn’t know about myself. And He has shown me things that have shaped me in my identity as a man of God and as His child.

@pulse.evangelism has been a catalyst for what I’ve gone through in the past couple months. To my new brothers and sisters, intern directors, supervisors, and the rest of the staff at Pulse, I thank you for your yes to Jesus. Because of your yes, and because of your obedience, I have become a better man.

If you’ve read this far thank you :) As I wrap it up I’d like to leave you with this…

Jesus wants your yes. Not a “maybe” or a “sometimes” or a “when I feel like it”. He wants your yes. He wants your full undivided devotion… after all, He is able to do far more abundantly than all we could ever ask, think or imagine.

I love yall, but Jesus loves you more🙏🏼❤️

PALM SUNDAY!!! In the church we’re all fam 💚

I feel so much goodness stirring and so much I want to reflect on as I go into Holy Week.

What it comes down to is this: None of this should be, none of this would be; without the blood of Jesus Christ.

I’m in awe of God, His son, His people, all of his creation.

What a God…to send his one and ONLY son

What a God…to allow us to be heirs of the kingdom

What a God…the best is yet to come <3
