Sinfonia 2026 – Once Upon a Time
A production by the NYPSO Winds, Winds Alumni, and Orchestra.

This Sinfonia felt different for me; I was there not only as an alumnus, but also as a NYP staff. The concert wasn’t quite what I had expected, but I really hope the juniors will continue to grow and give their very best in the next Sinfonia.

Until then, we’ll meet again. Signing off~

Since 2018, Authentico Wind Ensemble has been dedicated to nurturing young musical talent through our concert series, Impressivo. This initiative has allowed us to collaborate with various school bands, including Saint Andrews Junior School, Holy Innocents’ High School, and Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary School—offering young musicians a platform to showcase their skills and gain valuable performance experience.

This year, we’re excited to continue that tradition by inviting the talented students of Hai Sing Catholic School to join us. Our aim is to provide these young musicians not just a stage, but a true arts performance venue — an opportunity for them to experience the joy and professionalism of performing in a formal concert setting.

We believe in giving the next generation of musicians meaningful opportunities, and we’re proud to share the stage with them at Impressivo V!

Thanks for the very AWEsome evening at Impressivo IV, friends! ☺️ It's been a fun journey practising and making music together over the last few months with you all. 🙏🏻

El Camino Real brought back alot of nostalgia and good memories for me. Other pieces like Bon Jovi and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon were also pop/rock and movie music that I really liked (back in the day 😜) I def also had to learn quite a few more Taylor Swift songs than I used to know... It was also most inspiring seeing the students from the @hihsband perform their pieces on stage and have a good time. 🥳

Special thanks to @timpanibell and @vlrx for conducting the band, and the @authenticowindensemble committee for bringing everyone and everything together. 🙏🏻

Very grateful for all those who came to support us! Also blessed by chance meetups and finding out that some people I know used to be in band too. Come play with us next time! 🎶 ☺️

Thanks @snoops25 for all the pics! 📸❤️

What an incredible evening we had last Saturday! We're still buzzing from the energy in the room.

A huge shout out to Holy Innocents' High School Band @hihsband for joining us as our guest performers. Your talent and enthusiasm were truly inspiring!

Of course, this wouldn't be possible without the dedication of our incredible musicians, conductors @timpanibell , @vlrx and our amazing crew. Thank you for everything you do!

To everyone who came to celebrate music with us, THANK YOU! We wouldn't have had such a fantastic evening without your support.

Stay tuned as Authentico Wind Ensemble isn't done yet! We're committed to continue bringing music and meaningful projects to our community.
