#FridayFanfare for Fly Rig 5‼️That’s alotta Fs!! 🙏🏼 Thank you to SE for his great comment about the Fly Rig 5. The Fly Rig 5 (like all our Fly Rigs) is a true game changer, enabling players to carry less without sacrificing great tone. No bad backline loaners, overloaded flight cases, and airport security stress; our Fly Rigs are sleek and compact and chock full of effects — tiny tonal titans! 💪 Going beyond being just a multi-effects unit, the all-analog SansAmp technology enables any Tech 21 Fly Rig to be an actual “rig.” You can run directly into mixers of recording desks and PA systems, as well as augment your existing amplifier set-up. This and so much more. Check out the Fly Rig 5 and all our other great Fly Rigs on our website linked in bio. 🔗 . . . #tech21nyc #sansamp #flyrig5 #effectspedal @fourchordconsulting @timstarace

“I Turned My Bass Into A Synth... And It Sounds MASSIVE.” —Charles Berthoud This reel is a small excerpt from a non-sponsored demo video on YouTube by Charles Berthoud who shows you some very incredible, cool sounds you can get out of your bass using the Future Impact V4 VIP pedal. ➡️ Find his full demo video linked in our bio under “More Links.” There’s a reason why the Future Impact V4 VIP is number 10 on the Thomann “Most Popular” list. (Thomann is Europe’s largest online music store.) Yes, there might be simpler synth pedal options out there, but if you want to dig deeper into custom programming, this is the unit for you. We think you’ll find the Future Impact V4 VIP beats any and all of its competitors due to its superior pitch tracking. The V4.5 upgrade adds 99 DX7 FM song-ready presets to the existing 99 Virtual Analogue presets library. That’s alotta presets! There’s also a Setlist Mode to program a performance list without a computer. Plus it has advanced capabilities that competitor’s unitslack, such as automatic input mode switching and separate MIDI channels. Take a look at the full YouTube video for some truly creative synth sounds on bass! Then check out all the Future Impact V4- VIP has to offer (also linked in our bio). The Future Impact is brought to you by Andras Szalay, the original designer of the legendary Akai Deep Impact pedal. It is the world’s fastest and most reliable tracking platform for professionals and hobbyists alike. . . @charles_berthoud @pandaaudio_official @thomann.music #tech21nyc #futureimpactv4vip #effectspedal #synthpedal #pedaldemo @timstarace @fourchordconsulting

Shout out to @the_grumpy_sound_guy for giving Tech 21 and the SansAmp/dUg Pinnick DP-3X Signature Pedal a shout out! Thanks so much for recommending us and the DP-3X to your followers. We’ve clipped a smaller segment of his reel here. Hope that’s cool with him. 🙏🏼 (You can view his reel in its entirety on his IG account.) As he and many of you know, the DP-3X sounds RIDICULOUS (in the best way possible), so there’s nothing to be grumpy about there! 😉 . . @dugpinnick @kingsxofficial #tech21nyc #sansamp #dp3x #ridiculous #basspedal @fourchordconsulting @timstarace

“Tech 21’s roots in analog offerings are what keeps me true to the brand... Nothing sounds better…” —CN 🙏🏼 Thanks, CN. And we’re proud of our history and roots in analog technology, all due to the creative genius of Andrew Barta: TECH 21 - ESTABLISHED 1989 Andrew Barta launched Tech 21 in midtown Manhattan and introduced his unique invention to the world — the SansAmp. It was, in fact, the culmination of something he simply wanted for his own personal use. As a performing musician with an electronics background, and whose “day job” was repairing, modifying and customizing amplifiers, Andrew had the expertise — and determination — to make his vision a reality. Ironically, Andrew never intended on becoming a manufacturer. He initially tried selling his technology to some of the major manufacturers. But they weren’t able to foresee the potential and how much impact the SansAmp would eventually have. (Not so secretly, we are delighted no one bought the idea!) Unable to abandon his idea, Andrew had to set out on his own. Although this kind of product had never before existed, it took a surprisingly short amount of time to gain acceptance from players. All they had to do was hear it. Tech 21 pioneered the direct recording movement and created an entirely new category of signal processing. The revolutionary SansAmp tube amplifier emulator was the first device to enable musicians to dial in monster tones and patch them directly to a studio mixer or stage PA. Finally, it was possible to get stunning, consistent tones without futzing for hours and hours to find that elusive ‘sweet spot.’ Instead, the 100% analog SansAmp delivered all of its mammoth sounds from a pocket-sized pedal. Tech 21 continually strives to offer player-friendly, truly useful, flexible, multi-functional, roadworthy, workhorse products. In a world of planned obsolescence and constant upgrades, many of our products have changed little, or not at all, and are still in production today. . . #tech21nyc #sansamp #historylesson #effectspedals #andrewbarta @fourchordconsulting @timstarace

Fan mail via snail mail 🐌✉️ ‼️…These days it’s not common to receive a full page handwritten letter, but that’s exactly what came into our mailbox recently, along with 2 warranty cards for recent pedal purchases. “CR” was kind enough to take the time to write (✍️ literally!) to thank us and tell us he was a fan, plus list all the Tech 21 products he owns. He also shared his “Tech 21 story,” which we shared here, along with his full letter, so swipe through and check it out. 🙏🏼 Thanks so much, CR! We really appreciate it. . . #tech21nyc #sansamp #effectspedals #guitarpedals #basspedals @fourchordconsulting @timstarace

So sad to wake up to Michael Mosbach’s passing today. I feel fortunate to have spent time a couple of times with him in Mexico and at The Bubba Bashes which he organized to honor his best friend Neil Peart. I will miss all of your sarcasm, laughs and debates on drummers and Rush music. 😅 RIP my friend as you will be missed by many and I hope you are riding with Neil🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️🥁

Our hearts are broken today. We have lost a great friend and a man who was special to so many. Michael Mosbach lost his battle today and as we struggle to find the words and the meaning of it all, we also wish to briefly share and celebrate what he meant to us. Many knew Michael as a longtime friend, riding partner and security provider to Neil Peart. One day in 2019 Michael reached out to us to say how much he liked the band and had some ideas about working together. Michael would attend our shows and bring along some close friends who not only happened to be world renowned musicians but also friends of Neil’s. So in 2022 Michael along with Tim hatched the idea for the annual “Bubba Bash” to raise awareness and funds for glioblastoma research at Cedars-Sinai in the name of Neil. (Please follow the Bubba Bash page and look for more info). Michael was not only the co-creator of the Bubba Bash, he was the “Godfather”, and the head of the table as we’d gather every year as one big family. There is much more to say about the man and what he meant to so many, but for today we mourn his loss, say a little prayer and have a little toast of Macallan. Cheers brother! We love you ❤️ @praetorian_animus
