🤍 Special thanks to my lovely dancers @elsabecks & @kileydegraaf, & @timtencate voor deze prachtige behind the scenes beelden ✨ #canonnederland #canonbelgium #canoncreators #canoncommunity

Incredibly excited to have been part of @canonbelgium & @canonnederland’s podcast and to show you the result. 🎙️🎧 Earlier this year, I had the absolute pleasure of being invited to the Canon Studio as one of their guests to record a brand-new episode of “Canon Talks” ~ a podcast series exploring the why behind creating. Not just how we shoot, but why we create. 📸 Hosted by the amazing @timtencate, we talked about purpose, impact, visual storytelling and the drive behind the work I choose to put into this world. 🌎 🔴 Now live on @spotify, @applepodcasts & more 🔗 Link to the podcast in bio 📥 Save this post for your next commute, quiet moment or when you’re doing absolutely nothing (in the best possible way). 🎧☀️ —— #canon #podcast #ocean #visual #storytelling

༄ CREATORS OF CHANGE ༄ A brand new chapter in Canon’s “World Unseen” campaign has been written. A chapter in which children not only learn about one of the most vulnerable ecosystems on our planet, but above all are taught how to tell their own stories ~ through photography, video and creation ~ empowering them their voice matters. ✨ I’ve been using my camera for years to tell tales about the ocean. Now, thanks to Canon’s Creators of Change program, it’s with great pride and passion, I get to pass that experience on to the next generation, alongside the incredible joint effort of the amazing Canon team and dedicated school teachers. 🙏 Young people are the future caretakers of our planet, growing up in a world full of change, uncertainty, but also opportunity. Therefore, it’s a true honour to contribute to a campaign with such meaningful values and creative ambition, aiming to inspire a new generation that lives more consciously, more connected and with greater care for our planet. 🌏 ——— Campaign 🌊: World Unseen | Life Underwater | @canonbelgium & @canonnederland Photo 📸: @julietadema | @timtencate | @inesgoovaertsphotography Video 🎥: @brunovdkraan | @aikon_producties ——— #canon #ambassador #worldunseen #lifeunderwater #campaign

I had the absolute pleasure of being invited to speak at @canonnederland’s end-of-year Christmas event ~ sharing my work as a nature photographer and expedition leader in front of a fully booked aula at Canon HQ. 🌎 We took the World Unseen Canon campaign into its next chapter, diving deeper into a life lived beneath the surface. From the power of photography and visual storytelling in fragile marine environments, to the stories behind the campaign’s key visuals as displayed on @canonbelgium’s façade… and the next steps ahead in 2026. 📸 Alongside the live talk in Dutch, it was extra special to record a streaming session in English for Canon colleagues across Europe, all connected by a shared passion for imagery and impact. 🌊 A huge thank you to @canonnederland for the trust, the opportunity to inspire and share my experience & insights during these lectures, the warm welcome and the room filled with curiosity and enthusiasm. 💙 📸 & @timtencate for the wonderful BTS 🙏 ——— #canon #ambassador #worldunseen #lifeunderwater #visualstorytelling

With 2025 coming to and end, I figured I’d post a recap of my year. Not that anyone cares, but as a reminder to myself for what a good year it’s been. It started on crutches and me literally learning to walk again after my knee surgery at the end of 2024. But soon after I could walk again, the first jobs and trips came in. Shooting for @canonbelgium with @cabiner and @rusg.brussels. My first trip of the year to @cappadocia, followed by 2 very memorable weeks trip in Japan. Over the summer I continued my rehab on the Canary Islands, preparing for football season starting in August. Sadly I got re-injured again in my first game back. Shit happens I guess. The last trip of the year was a beautiful one to French-Polynesia, where I got to swim with whales and sharks. Thanks to everyone who made this a year to remember, my wife, cats, old and new friends. I wish all of you reading this the very best for 2026! 🫶🏻

Stepping into Cabin Anna felt like walking into a quiet little dream. Being invited by Canon to spend a day creating here was already a pinch-me moment — the kind that reminds me why I love storytelling so much.
A cabin that opens, breathes, and shifts with the light… and a group of creators all chasing their own vision. Thank you @canonnederland for the invite, @sjoerdbracke & @cunodebruin for guiding the experience, and @holenberg_cabinanna for welcoming us into this beautiful space.
Grateful for this day, the people, and the magic of the woods. ✨ #canoncreators #canonnl #cabinanna #creatorsinthenature #outdoorstories #storytellingphotography #creatorslife #behindthelens #netherlandscreatives #woodlandvibes
