DARK WINDS S4- 1ST TEAM SET PA 💗

Grateful for the cast and crew, whom are family, for believing in me. I’ve never felt more support, love and most importantly encouragement from an entire unit like I have with this one. To be apart of a team and to have so much Indigenous representation in front and behind the camera is so important to me. Especially in the tv/film industry, we must preserve and protect our storytellers, life bringers and language carriers. Our voices now more than ever need to be amplified. Our laughter, our cries, our traditions, our stories, our lives, the world we’ve touched and continue to nurture, our children, babies to come and elders, all deserve to be heard, protected and appreciated. This is more than just a show to all of us and I really hope outsiders and DW fans see and understand that.

Ta-ah thank you to DW production for giving me purpose on set, my voice is the loudest it’s ever been and my backbone the strongest it’s ever been. You gotta be tough to make it and I’m thankful for those who hyped me up day to day. Every single person on this set has touched my heart in different ways, if I’ve ever hugged you or shared my time with you, just know I remember every convo. My life has changed forever and the opportunities are only starting. Here we come DWS5🪶🫶🏼💪🏼

That’s a wrap 🎬

Closing a very special chapter today. 🎞️

After three years of telling New Mexico’s story at the Film Office, it’s time for a new perspective. This role taught me that behind every massive production is a community of hardworking, talented people, and getting to share their 'Why' has been the honor.

Huge love to the storytellers, the crew members, local talent, and the NMFO team who supported me every step of the way. You guys made the hard work feel like magic.

I’m so proud of the partnerships we forged with icons like Netflix, Sony, NBCUniversal, A24, and more.

To everyone who collaborated, cheered, and created with me THANK YOU. 🥂

I’ve been in the mood for early-mid 70s Soul. The messages and the heart in so much of this music still has immediacy. I started with Donny Hathaway, an amazingly gifted singer, and quickly rounded up The Staple Singers, War, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Sly & The Family Stone, Ann Peebles, Isaac Hayes, Isley Brothers, Average White Band, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes and some great live Marvin Gaye debuting the music from his then-new 1972 album What’s Going On. The flow felt great and, if you like this era of music, I know you’ll enjoy this edition of Air-Conditioned.

Just click on the link in the bio and it’ll take you to the Air-Conditioned webpage where the latest and a handful of recent episodes can be streamed anytime. Remember, this episode is available to hear at 9AM CST, Friday, March 13th. As always, thanks for listening and the good feedback.

From the Santa Fe International Film Festival to your screen — DARK WINDS Season 4 premieres this weekend Sunday night February 15th 7pm m.s.t. on @amc_tv 🎥 🔥 🌵🏔️

It was a true honor to preserve these moments of the talented @darkwindsamc cast featuring @deanna.allison22 & @natalie_benally alongside executive producer @tinaelmo and director @chris.eyre and moderated by none other than Mr. @garytroublemaker_official during their panel last fall at the 2025 @santafeintlfilmfest at @zanebennettgallery 🎬 📺 ✨

What I enjoyed most about having the privilege to photograph these artists was the smiles — it’s clear this is a group of people who genuinely love working together, and that shined through the entire panel. Very grateful for the opportunity to be in the room at Zane with my camera. Ahéheeʼ ✨

Indigenous-led series Dark Winds and The Lowdown have both been named to TV Guide’s “Best TV Episodes of 2025.” 💯⭐

TV Guide (@tvguide) has officially crowned Dark Winds Season 3, Episode 6 — “Ábidoo’níidéé (What We Had Been Told)” — as the #1 Best TV Episode of the Year.

“Ábidoo’niidę́ę́ (What We Had Been Told)” follows Joe Leaphorn (@zahnmcclarnon) as he confronts his deepest fears, weaving in the Navajo mythological figure, the Ye’iitsoh.

The episode was written by Max Hurwitz (@xhurwitz) and Billy Luther (@itsbillyluther) and directed by Erica Tremblay (@ericajtremblay).

Meanwhile, the new Sterlin Harjo–led FX series The Lowdown earned an impressive #4 placement for its gripping pilot episode.

This marks another year of Indigenous excellence dominating year-end lists — in 2024, TV Guide ranked True Detective: Night Country “Part 6” at #3, and in 2023, Reservation Dogs “Deer Lady” took home the #1 spot.

Check out the full 2025 list on @tvguide. 🔗
