POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Im sooo behind on posting September was a doozy!! I can’t post on October til post this one because …well it meant the world. First of September we closed on my BIL Wooten (@wootendavidf )and sister Debbie’s (@debbiewooten ) house, and I won’t lie it’s taken a minute to put that into words. Every time I went to post or create the video I couldn’t. But today’s the day!! I know I get gushy about houses but this one truly hits HOME. I realize as I reflect it was never really just a house.

By that I mean of course Debbie and David owned it, the deed belonged to them lol but they made sure we ALL felt like that house belonged to us. It was OUR Thanksgiving, Our Christmas, our Easter, where celebrated Birthdays and occasions, where Mom made her famous mashed potatoes(and got them all over the cabinets 😂), where the food was always plentiful, the kids and conversations were loud and the laughter even louder.

It was where I hugged mom for the last time and she hugged me back 🥺Where cousins became best friends, siblings caught up, eggs were hunted. Competition was fierce , kids grew up, and all of us made memories.

It’s where we took way too many pictures, pretended to hate taking them, and then argued over which ones were the best and were anxiously waiting for Deb to send ours to us . 🥰

We handed over the keys of a house full of memories to a precious family who I know will be lucky enough to do the same. I love how history repeats itself. I clearly Remember the houses me, my siblings and cousins did the same. 🥰

No, Home has never really been about four walls or a deed.Home is where your people are. And for so many years, this one was ours. It holds memories we will cherish forever. David & Debbie for being so gracious generous and just YOU! Congratulations on the closing of this chapter so excited to see what unfolds from here and can’t wait to create more memories in your/OUR 😉next HOME. Oh and thank you for letting me be a part❤️🏡

“No AI needed… we lived it! 80s. 💋📼✨
The hair was big, the jeans were high, the music was better, and the memories were REAL.
Just a few snapshots from the days when we didn’t need filters—we had Aquanet. 😂❤️

You might be wondering who dedicates the pastors kids? Well, in our case, our parents! Both Taylor and my parents are pastors and also OUR pastors! It was very special for my parents to dedicate our 5th and final baby 🥹 Very, very thankful! 🤍

Sunday Vlog Florida Edition ☀️

Being at my parent’s church is always so special. It’s small but mighty! And nothing quite compares to the church ladies who have prayed for me over the years. This is why being a part of the capital C church is so important: because one day your kids will grow up knowing they have prayer warriors in their corner! If you need recs for a church near you drop a comment and I’m happy to help! 🤍

Last weekend I celebrated my 35th birthday with hundreds of my church girls!

When we were initially planning conference, and knew we wanted to host it in May, it was funny that the only weekend available for our venue happened to fall on my birthday. At first, I thought is that really what I want to do? And then I realized what would I rather do?!

Getting to preach about Jesus, supporting the local church girl, while surrounded by family + sisterhood is what I was created for!!

I preached a message called PACE YOURSELF which feels prophetic for me as I step into a new season (again!) of adding a sweet baby to our family. I’m pacing for the promise 🤍 and looking forward to all God has ahead for year 35!
