There are a whole lot of new faces around here lately, so I feel like I should probably clarify something before anyone gets the wrong idea:

I am absolutely this weird in real life.

In fact, I’ve taken this exact same weird with me all over the damn planet. Different countries. Different cities. Different chapters of my life. Different careers. Different people.

Same weird.

And somehow, everywhere I’ve gone, I’ve managed to find people who said, “Yep. We’ll keep her.” 😂

At 42, I’m starting to think THAT might actually be the biggest flex.

So stay weird.

Wear the thing. Make the art. Laugh too loud. Love what you love. Chase the idea nobody else understands. Find the people who don’t just tolerate your weird, but bring their own weird right along with them.

Because life gets a hell of a lot more fun when you stop trying to fit in and start finding the people you fit WITH.

To every wonderfully strange human who has found me somewhere along the way — whether it was across the world, across the country, or right here on this little corner of the internet…

Thank you for never asking me to tone it down.

Apparently the weird travels and ages well. 🖤

When the beach day makes it out of the group chat! But no better reason than to celebrate @jasblessed year 5.0!! God blessed the day with beautiful weather, good food, lots of sand and sea, volleyball, singing and best company. Jiu jitsu started it all…and so grateful for it! #auntysquad
