3 years and thousands of hours of sleepless nights, revisions, growth, tears, and doing things I didn’t know were in me to do — digital nostalgia feels like the first time I’ve poured all of my energy into something and fully let it out into the world. It feels like climbing a mountain whose peak was unbeknownst to us when embarking on this journey. That is what this album is about to me — embracing the change that comes in the unknown and trusting love will help get you to the other side.

I’m proud we chose to do everything in house. Every vocal recorded in our living spaces. Every pitch checked five times over by Jonah. Every synth I designed by hand on Serum. Every innovative melody Mikey would pull from the aether. Every brilliant instance of Flet’s wordplay and confidence on the mic. Every choice made together and celebrated as a collective. These are my brothers and this is our music, in the purest sense. We set a standard for ourselves, we met it, and we will continue to carry it.

I’m infinitely thankful to God for surrounding me with people who believe in me and trust me to help elevate them. That is one of the greatest gifts of life and art. From uncertainties around Flet moving to navigating Jonah living in OKC, everything shook out EXACTLY how it needed to. I am not the same person I was when this album began to take shape, and it’s in part because of the gifts and lessons given to us that I hope to pass on everyday.

Huge thanks to Caleb and Matt, we are forever indebted to t.i.n.a.s. for taking a chance on us. The world of digital nostalgia is not what it is without y’all.

To those who give it a spin, thank you thank you thank youuuu— I hope it makes your day a little better and inspires you to commit to a purpose, whatever it may be. :)
