What a killer weekend.. Talk Story was a super success at the Seal Beach River Beach House with so many legends, Kai Weisser delivered new luscious prints and a shirt in the morning on Saturday of the 100 year anniversary HB Lifeguard/Surfing art, I got to touch the holy grail of surfboards the redwood board shaped by Duke Kahanamoku himself at Corona Del Mar in the 1920s which he then taught other dudes like Bud Higgins and Gene Belshe how to shape beginning surfboard shaping in Southern California, Picked up a classic 1980 Bronzed Aussies from Rockin Fig shop during the Vintage Surfboard Collectors Club Rockin Fig Fest, The Temple of Surf Podcast episode came out on Saturday, Had my "Killer Dana" painting in the Ohanafest "Cove Gallery" exhibit along with a multitude if seriously talented artists spanning all across the art spectrum, the Tenth Street Bagels Seal Beach shop shirt with my art came out today, ...and it was a pumping swell all weekend .. Muchos Gracias.

Home again after a couple truly spectacular weeks in the beautiful southwest. So many wonderful shows filled with music lovers, plus invigorating hikes, some of the best food I’ve ever eaten, and even a hot air balloon ride!! 🎈

I have so many people to thank for making this trip SO fantastic: Mike and Linda Meier, @tincanbeachcomber, @bubbabergen , @eleanor_whitmore , @loisblaisch , Nancy Philleo and Steve Greenberg and the @desertfoothillslandtrust , Bob and @bonniebrn , @kentkoefler , @mattressmary , @jeninnm and @sundancehouseconcerts , Kent Gurley at Studios @solamenteplaster …. I’m sure I’m forgetting some!!

I have just a few shows between now and the end of the year and ending on such a high note is a wonderful feeling. I feel so lucky that it feels like I have family all over the country who show me so much love and make it possible for me to live this crazy dream.

I already miss the desert, but I’ll be back soon! 🌵
