Can you believe we’re already halfway through 2025? It’s been a total whirlwind…one of those years where everything feels like a blur and yet, somehow, like it all happened forever ago. A recent trip to see my nieces and nephew gave me a rare pause to reflect, and wow… so much has already unfolded.

Truth is, I spend a lot of time focused on what I haven’t done yet. That feeling hits especially hard in a place like L.A., where the hustle never stops. But moments like this remind me just how much I already have, especially the people in my life who lift me up, show up, and make this wild ride worth it.

So here’s to soaking up the rest of 2025 with gratitude, clarity, and the amazing humans I get to call my circle. Let’s keep going.

Standout moments thus far (no particular order):
1. Celebrating my 40th in both Los Angeles and Austin (it was a month of 40) - my friend @iammailyne organizing an awesome getaway in Lake Arrowhead with some super cool friends.
2. Driving from a shoot in San Diego straight to El Paso (stop 1) then straight to a bar in Austin, where 15 friends showed up with less than 24 hours notice to celebrate my 40th in Austin
3. Getting surprised with a drag queen by @daran and @tineherrman
4. Celebrating in Austin with my Get Reelisms team @katpenna @crapapples @adamischase @rfader7
5. Directing @yokaitheseries in March (it feels like this was last year)
6. Producing/Directing a spec commercial in Los Angeles (first personal project since moving here)
7. 40th photo shoot with Candice Ghai @candiceghaiphotography @candice_bejarano_ghai @mayagandhimakeup (one of my favorite photographers)
8. Visiting my nephew and nieces in Cincinnati with my parents
9. Hosting two Scene Lab events with my friend Elizabeth @trieufio @wearegoodbuds for Get Reelisms
10. Going to Seattle via train to shoot one of my best friend’s 10th anniversary @sumzoid

🫶🏼One year ago, last night, my life changed forever🫶🏼 Surviving a widowmaker heart attack, along with my mom surviving breast cancer this year 🎀, is a reminder of how precious and fleeting life is. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the friends, family and co-workers who have been there in various ways throughout my recovery ❤️‍🩹

This video doesn’t capture everyone who supported me - in ways I’ll never forget. Some of the most profound moments didn’t come with photos—just quiet strength, heartfelt conversations, and love that words and pictures can’t fully express.

As you have seen through my posts, I’ve made it my mission to turn my survival into impact. By raising awareness and funds as a Leader of Impact for the @american_heart , and sharing my story, I hope to help others recognize the signs, prioritize their health, and cherish the people who make life worth living.

To everyone who has been part of this year—seen or unseen—thank you for your generosity, encouragement, and presence. You’ve shown me that even in the hardest moments, we are never truly alone.

Here’s to paying it forward, making every moment count, and living with a heart full of gratitude. #Bourne2Live ✨
