I had the most beautiful birthday. I feel so loved by my people and I love my people so much! I still can’t stop smiling. Wow, I am so grateful! What a tremendous thing it is to live and truly be alive, taking it all in more and more with every breath. The better it gets, the better it gets. Deeper and deeper into the mystery we go!

1. WSM morning show at Roy Acuff House with Coffee, Country and Cody!

4. Backstage tour of the Minnie Pearl dressing room 👒
5. Wearing my 13 yr old Charlie’s shoes this whole tour so I have family walking with me everywhere I go ♥️
6. Backstage rehearsals with the incredible Opry house band- these folks play a full 3 hour show 4 nights a week with a lineup of 5-8 different artists each night. One run through with each artist before they nail it on live radio broadcast. ABSOLUTES G’s!!! 👊🏼
7. Raced around Opry Mills for an hour with @eleanoradigby before the show hunting for a red bow and then the bow didn’t make the cut. 😂 🎀 🙅🏻‍♀️
8. My girls @ashleymcbryde and @shellyfairchild met me backstage wearing their custom made Tami Neilson t-shirts. Their love and support lift me up, fill my heart with confidence and fill my eyes with grateful tears 🥹♥️

14. Between songs, I told a story of seeing @vincegillofficial at the Ryman when I was 16. It was the filming of a Christmas special and he was co-hosting and at one point he came out to the balcony to introduce a song and his “skinny little butt” was hanging over the bannister right above me, as my teenage hormones raged and I had to ask God to forgive me for my impure thoughts 😂 As I sang my final song and went to walk offstage, there was Vince Gill, shaking his butt at me, saying, “It ain’t so skinny anymore!!!” 😂 CAREER HIGHLIGHT! (Thanks @thekellysutton for making this magic happen!)

Tough news today that the great Red Paden passed away this morning. Red’s is a legendary juke joint in Clarksdale, MS. Red was always kind, sharp, and blunt in his conversation, and damn did that man see some Blues. It’s all for the family, now. R.I.P. good sir. #kingoftheblues

Had an absolute blast hanging with Nick Hoffman on his show Broken Jukebox Society on Apple Music! He and I first met when I was opening for Kenny Chesney & he was playing with him. You really need to go listen to all the episodes over the last few years. I have been listening & they are a wonderful trip down memory lane. So so so good!! It’s really interesting to hear the songs that were part of each artists Journey-growing up & leading and walking beside them during their career. So great & he is the best host! Did you know he also has a hunting show & makes his own records? Sooo awesome! Looking forward to sharing my musical journey when it airs on March 9th! Thank you Nick, Lauren & Apple Music!
