🚨 NWA & also I'M BACK! 🚨

My page has been quieter than a Rolex boutique when you ask to see a steel sports model. The algorithm probably thinks I’ve gone and bought a smartwatch (how dare you, Instagram), but the truth is I just needed a massive break from the watch world to survive.

But I’m breaking the ice today because I finally got some new wrist companion action, and I needed to share.

Just to be absolutely clear: This is NOT my graduation watch. Let’s not jinx it, I still have to survive the exams first. 🫪🎓
This is my Final Year Journey survival piece: the Timex Waterbury Flyback Chronograph. Because if I’m going to spend my last year of college running on 3 hours of sleep, caffeine, and pure panic, I might as well have some tactical backup on my wrist.

Naturally, the stock Vegan Leather strap had to go.
I didn’t just swap it once; I went full customizable on this thing:

The Bond NATO strap:
For when I want to feel like 007 while aggressively typing out assignments I started 4 hours before the deadline. 😮‍💨✨

The Rubber strap:
For when the final year panic gets real and the stress sweats kick in, or when I inevitably pass out at my desk and need something waterproof to survive my own tears of exhaustion. 🫡☔️

What does a flyback chronograph actually do? Well, it resets the timer instantly without stopping it first.

Honestly, I use it to time exactly how long I can procrastinate before it becomes a hazard, or to track how fast I can sprint to the back of the classroom when I’m 15 minutes late.

It’s matte black, it’s rugged, and it distracts me from my impending adulthood.

One cool thing about a hybrid watch is how it just looks so normal in the wrist until I show the features out to someone, it also makes you take use of the latest tech without entirely switching into a digital smart watch situation. Also the ladies think I'm James Bond when I start controlling stuffs remotely on an analog looking watch! 😂🥂

I wouldn’t consider myself an #AmateurPhotographer. I’m probably a notch or two below that. I’m also not one who backs away from a challenge or is too proud to learn and ask for help. I recently watched Eric’s (@averagewatches) reel on how he organizes 90% of his #flatlayphotography, so I figured I would give it a shot. I set everything up, snapped, edited, and shared with Jeremy, (@timepeacelove). Even while in the Philippines at 1:00 am, Jeremy gave his input on my edit. This is the true definition of #watchFAM! I took what he recommended, and made a few more adjustments. What you see is the final outcome. Feedback is always welcome. 🙏

Hello everyone! I've been missing in action for a while, but college life took over! Now that things are settling down, I'm excited to reconnect and catch up with all my lovely watchfam. Might take a while to get back into a daily posting routine but still will make sure to drop some pics occasionally. The watch here is my latest addition from @titanwatchesindia , which happens to be my first dive watch.
