I love a challenge. In 2022, I took one on that almost broke me!
Running 5k was a huge thing on my life to do list, and having successfully completed it after a free 9 week couch to 5k training course, I simply had to write about it.
If this is on your list, don’t hesitate. I was overweight and under fit, so if I can do it, you can 🏃‍♀️
Over the years, due to big life challenges, I’ve got out of the habit but aiming to restart this year.

Here’s a link to the post detailing how I did it

My 600th post and my favorite pic of the year.
I’m dancing with my son at his wedding to Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” sung by a live Colombian band, they were awesome, the day was incredible.
Our dance was pure us, rock music, singing loudly and out of tune, and enjoying every second.

Pic 2. 30 of us from Toronto took a flight to Cartagena, Colombia, to meet up with Gabs family for what was an incredible week of love and laughter, exactly what a wedding is supposed to be ❤️

Pic 3. Family and friends gathered at a rooftop bar for welcome to Colombia 🇨🇴 drinks, they sure know how to party!!

Pic 4 is my husband, children and the lovely Ana. Ana was an international student who lived with us for 6 months in Canada from Colombia 22 years ago when she was a teenager. We’ve always stayed in touch, but this is our first meeting for 22 years ❤️

Pic 5. The happy couple at the wedding rehearsal the evening before the big day. Don’t they look excited ❤️❤️

Pic 6. The wedding party and guests walked through the streets with a live band and dancers helping us along. So much joy and happiness.
Just look at my beautiful daughter-in-law ❤️❤️

Pic 7 is with my very handsome, and patient, husband 😂🥰

Pic 8. My children were born in Jersey, a very small island off the coast of France, owned by England since 1066. That’s your history lesson for the day.
The Jersey flag flew proudly at the reception 🇯🇪

Pic 9. Ahh, the Penny boys, named after the street we lived on as the kids grew up. I have so many stories about these boys, who I’ve known for over 20 years, since they were all smaller than me😂
Also pictured is Rosie, who married Penny boy Tyler, far right, this year too.
This pic was recreated at their wedding with Tyler’s mom standing where I am. 2 more to go to get a complete set. Get busy Ryan and Riley 😂😂

Pic 10. We danced for hours. I lost my heels and Brody lost the top half of his outfit 😂😂

Funny how just one picture can lead to a very long story 😂

ABFIT 🥹

It’s more than just them smashing it in the gym, we are a team and a bloody amazing one! I’m so unbelievably grateful to have such amazing clients that bring so much joy to me week on week! 🫶🏽

To be able to organise a social with these wonderful people and have such a great turn out, everyone letting their hair down and enjoying themselves around people they are comfortable with whether that be the first time they’ve met eachother or are now friends for life! 🙌🏼

To all my ABFIT members (those that were and weren’t able to make it last night) you are the reason I love my job and will continue to be the best coach I can be 🫶🏽

One proud and happy coach right here 🤍

If you’re interested in joining my team DM me now✨

Big shoutout for my little man (Matty aged 10) who aced his kazoo ‘hoot’ in @greg_james’s #hooternanny on @bbcradio1 this morning. All participating UK listeners hooted along to FISHER’s ‘Losing It’ at 9:20am gmt. EPIC😬😂✊ #radio #iloveradio #radiogaga #radio1 #gregjames #fun #makingmemories #parenthood #childhood #breakfastradio
