What a night! 💃✨

I had the BEST time dancing at Havana Nights Detroit last Friday! So great to catch up with old friends, my queridos Salseros from back in the day, new friends, clients, partners, and so many familiar Detroit faces.

Beautiful hot summer night on the Detroit river. 🔥Amazing music. (@djciscodetroit sooo good to see you, hermano!) Great food, drinks, service, and energy. And, of course, dancing with my very good friend Tino Orozco made it even more fun. 💃🕺

I’m feeling especially grateful for all of the experiences, friendships, relationships, and community I have here in Detroit. Nights like this remind me just how lucky I am.

Already looking forward to Havana Nights next year!

And in the meantime… if you’re going out salsa or bachata dancing in Detroit, don’t forget to invite me! 😉💃
PS - More photos & video to come!

In honor of our anniversary, we’re taking a moment to thank some of the people and communities who’ve shown us love this year — and ATD (Argentine Tango Detroit) is at the top of that list 🤍

Amanda and Donato have welcomed us into their First Sunday socials since June, and the way they’ve opened their space and community to us has meant a lot. 🙏🏽 We’re excited to keep growing together (and maybe a little KizTango down the line 👀) as we keep building with their community.

If you haven’t visited their studio yet, you should — they pour so much into partner dance in Detroit and it really shows. 💃🏽 Their space, energy, and dedication speak for themselves. 🌟
