Let Them Know So They Can Grow is officially at Hutchinson’s Elementary School! Today was the start of a new STEM mentoring program called Let Them Know So They Can Grow, which is designed to help children learn about nutrition in a fun and interactive way by using yoga as a tool to provide facts about vegetables and their benefits. Today 2-3 graders came ready to learn and got the opportunity to connect with their mentors and talk about what yoga is and how vegetables can be tied together with the fitness. Throughout the program children will learn how to practice a healthy lifestyle by working with their peers and their mentors to stay educated and healthy. 🥕 Let Them Know So They Can Grow is so excited to be at Hutchinson’s Elementary and we cannot wait for whats on the agenda!

That’s a wrap on photos from our 12th Annual Student Wellness Expo & Chef Competition on March 28 🎉   Following the competition, students, families, and staff came together for an afternoon full of energy, learning, and fun. From yoga, dance, and journaling to apple tastings and connecting with community vendors, there was something for everyone to enjoy.   The day ended on a high note with an exciting pep rally featuring a performance by the Mays High School Dance Team, award presentations, and games that kept the celebration going.   Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event so special!   #APSNutrition #AtlantaPublicSchools #StudentWellness #CleverCooks
