I’ve teamed up with @jj_gonson_photo & @lek.c.girl to present ONCE Upon a Time - a new FREE music series on Sunday evenings right in Davis Square.

From now until November 1st, you can head over to the Davis Square Plaza from 4-6:30pm to hear music from many local treasures :) and the first one is this Sunday!

This week’s lineup is @tinydeserts , @seymour.tuchus , and @myworld_realworld all playing their beautiful music just for you 🤍 more lineups to be announced soon!

Tour <3 such a special way to share music and meet new people and strengthen friendships and discover new things. We don’t take the opportunity to travel for granted and want to say a gigantic thank you to everyone who hosted us, worked our shows, played music alongside us, or attended one of the 19(!) shows we played in April and May. Extra special thank you to @anidifranco for welcoming us into her squad and for being such an inspiration always.

Time really flies when you’re having fun!!

Next up for us, we celebrate Foggy Mountain Mental Breakdown right here at home @clubpassim but it’s already sold out sorry! live stream tickets are available if you’d like to tune in that way.

After that we’re back in the DJ booth at Both Kinds: special pride month edition @stateparkbar with @tinydeserts playing a sweet little set in between spinning vinyl.

“Fossil” out May 15th!

this album was originally recorded in october 2018, me jesse cale and jeremy in new york. it was always so fun and special to make music with them. life was so different, i didn’t know this would be the last album we’d all make together. but i’d already decided by the time we started that this album would be the last time i recorded my voice as it was. it was hard to let go of the voice i had grown up with, one that allowed me to sing the notes i wanted, and making this album felt like paying homage to the voice that served me for so long while also welcoming in a new one.

Tall Friend was an important outlet during a transitory time, and the friends + music communities we encountered along the way gave me the clarity to see that the world could be (and can be, and is) a good and joyful place. i just want us all to cling to joy and hope wherever we can find it…. even if that means indulging your nostalgia from time to time....

anywayy so happy to release “Laughing Gull” into the world, paired with this gorgeous video by Woods <3 the song is out wherever you get your music, links in bio, pretty bone white vinyl now available for pre-order on bandcamp!

Clint and I got married on Sunday out in Balmorhea, Texas - it was so amazing to have the people we love out under the same big sky

Very grateful to my family and friends for all of their help in making this happen :’)

Some highlights-
- I entered a portal when I entered the chapel. I walked down the aisle to Angel in the Snow by Elliott Smith, played live by @tinydeserts - staggeringly beautiful…..
- reading poems during the ceremony. T.S. Eliot, Frank O’Hara, John Donne, and Raymond Carver
- sharing our vows… 🤯
- the walk from the chapel to the reception through the rocky ranch. my friends played love songs on guitar, the clouds startled to settle into sunset
- just how fresh and open the air felt. Watching the light change into wild warm colors as it got later into the evening

Just generally running around. It was a whirlwind. I felt like a little pinball bouncing around all night. I’m so happy to get to share my life with Clint and everyone we love.
