#NelsonResidency #NatureBathing Went camping last weekend. No phone connection for 36+ hours. Absolutely needed. It was COLD and we wouldn’t have gone if we knew how cold it would get BUT we did, so the latter doesn’t matter AND THAT’S WHERE me and this hoodie found each other ✨♾️😩

Shoutout to “Pacho” for this piece of art and @theglobalheat.showcase for bringing an amazing lineup of vendors and artists together!

I even got to experience @tariiiqmusic #YEGartist heating the temperature up with his 🇵🇸 bars and super dope DJ set ✨

Celebrating, Sharing, and Amplifying LOVE!
The third annual Antidote Love Motel was such a wonderful expression of the power of Love. What a deelightful evening of uplifting the joy of gathering in community, of allowing music to reverberate through the emotions the body holds, of deep human connection.

The Antidote Love Motel was conceived as a place where: All forms of Love are valued, Dreams come true, and Unforgettable Memories are made.

A space where you can feel held + supported in your authentic expression. Annndd dang y’all really showed up for this one. Wholly hotness, you brought the heat babes. It is such an honour to see all of you be present and receive/engage/add to the experience.

Thank you for bringing your energy to the night and dancing until the wee hours. We are inspired by your dedication to nurturing this community and the Love you share for each other. It’s events like this that truly reflect why we do what we do and continue to motivate us to keep going. It is our ethos to represent our Queer+ fam, diverse voices, women, and celebrate the roots of our music. We promise to continue to do our best by and for you.
To recognize that while it is necessary to gather together it is also a privilege. Together we can take the Love from these experiences into the world, we can and must continue to be the change we want to see.
❤︎❤︎❤︎
We are exceptionally grateful for all of the incredible hunnies that made this night possible…our extraordinary team [it takes a village to make events like this happen and dang did our village show up!] our talented performers, artists, co-creators, and the sonic curators who guided the sounds for the night. Thank you. Y’all really made this night one we will never forget 💅

Extra thanks for our guest DJs @shaeldj @mark_grimace ,hailing all the way from Winnipeg, for their absolute House Music clinic. What a treat to host them for their Nelson debut set.

We send out Love far and wide and hope y’all take that warm-squishy-juicy feeling into the world with you.
Our hearts are full.
Thank you all so much.
