And just like a cold blast of arctic wind blowing through the desert, the estate terrace doors blew wide open and Lolita came rushing in followed by her Parisian pal. "Bonjour, hello my family," she exclaimed. "We made it!"
.
Apparently, Lolita has been trying to get back to Palm Springs for a few weeks, but was delayed by bad weather, airline delays, financial issues...blah, blah, blah. There's always some drama with her.
.
Mrs. Silkstone's assistant came running behind her to try to contain the chaos (in a beautiful handmade gown by @m._creations_ that was a gift from her boss).
.
At that moment, Priscilla jumped up to welcome her daughter and say how surprised and happy they are to see her.
.
Lolita caught a glimpse of Babette and squealed with excitement at the sight of her now eight year old daughter! "My Baby!" screamed Lolita.

We had so much fun last night playing with Barbie and Ken @ranchorelaxoca!

Hi, and welcome new friends and followers! I thought I'd take a minute to introduce myself to you and tell you about Tiny Palm Springs. Swipe to see behind the scenes photos of some of my dioramas, how I take pictures of my dolls, including my faux and real-life French bulldog (head of security) who's always by my side.
.
My name is Lisa and I have always loved Barbie and Ken. I started taking photos of them in real world settings (mostly around the town where I live and fun places we travel to) about 8 years ago. I have been sharing my photos on Instagram for several years and have developed multiple storylines that glamorize and showcase living in Palm Springs, California.
.
I use only my cell phone to take photos (so I can be quick and stealthy) and I don't use Photoshop or any serious editing (only color and cropping with some filters). Part of my challenge is to get everything to my satisfaction in the photos that I post, including poses, lighting, and those darn fly away hairs! Sometimes I take hundreds of photos to get one good shot to share with you.
.
I will share more details with you again soon. Thank you for following me and my adventures with Barbie and Ken. I hope we make you smile!

Elvis looks so relaxed on his honeymoon wearing jeans and a cute black polo. Priscilla, not so much. I'm sure she's having a great time. How could she not? She's with him and he's always a barrel of monkeys.
.
I like to think about what Elvis would be like today if he were living in Palm Springs. This tiny Elvis is loosely based on truth, but only in name and the fact that he's a world famous performer and movie star. He lives in Palm Springs like the real Elvis did for a time, and he married Priscilla recently. Now they're enjoying the last few moments of their honeymoon before they head back home to PS to get settled in as a family.
.
Elvis was just played by the stunningly talented Austin Butler in the new Elvis movie @elvismovie. If you haven't seen it, it's a must and it's out now on HBO @hbo. I can't get the soundtrack out of my head. I think that's why I've had so many Elvis posts this summer!

Joining the legions of other legendary celebrity couples who got married in Las Vegas...Just like JLo and Ben, Kourtney K and Travis, Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow, and Bruce Willis and Demi Moore...their love is everlasting.❤️

Mrs. Silkstone heard her sister Priscilla in the casita and decided to inquire about her wedding plans with Elvis. Clearly Priscilla didn't want to talk about it in front of her granddaughter, Babette.
.
She couldn't say if the invitations had been ordered, she wasn't clear on what date was finally decided, and she doesn't want anyone to see her dress. It's bad enough that their mother is coming. Wait until she finds out that her daughter Lolita is on her way!
.

Before they knew it Babette had run off to her room and changed into her new tangerine French bikini to model for the girls.
.
Her voice was like a song as she pretended to be parading down the boulevard (in her pink house slippers): 'I am la Grande Dame, fancy lady shopping the Rue Général Allard in St. Tropez. This is mon chien, Cha Cha! Here's my carte d'Or, Gold Card!' #amexgold

Mrs. Silkstone was working on a new summer menu with her culinary team when numerous boxes arrived at the Estate from Amazon.
.
They all had Babette's name on them...who knows what she ordered from Amazon Prime Day with her new gold Amex!?
.
And what is this....French pastry? It's special delivery from a bakery in Glendale, CA!? Now she's ordering her own fruit tarts?
.
Immediately after hearing the doorbell, Babette came screeching into the room. She threw herself to the floor and began opening the packages. 'My presents!' She cheered!
