No gym membership required just dynamic, functional human movement. 🧘🏾‍♀️✨
Long before modern fitness culture invented « leg day, » communities in Benin and across the globe practiced the resting squat. It isn’t just an exercise; it’s an ancestral posture for working, conversing, resting, and grounding down into the Earth. 🌍

Incorporating a daily deep resting squat helps to:
* 📈 Unlock hip and ankle mobility
* 🦴 Decompress the lower spine
* ⚙️ Support digestion and alignment
This is how our ancestors stayed healthy, mobile, and strong long before modern gym memberships existed. Reconnecting with natural movement is one of the most powerful gifts our heritage gives us. 🌿✨

Dear Joy Squad, when I put out that reel asking for help, I had no idea how many of you would answer, and so many women especially reached out with open hearts and offered whatever they had to give, whether that was their time, their skills, their wisdom or simply their presence. Every single one of them is contributing something beautiful to where I am right now, and I didn’t want that to stay invisible, so this is the first post in a series where I’m going to share my story through these women, through their voices and through the unique way each of them showed up for me.

The first is Gia @tinysupermodel13 who reached out to me all the way from Bali because she’s the daughter of a single mother, and when she saw my reel she recognised her own mum in me and wanted to be there for me the way she wished someone had been there for her mother.

What you’re seeing here is raw footage from our coaching call, shared with Gia’s permission, where I get emotional talking about the offer that just came in on my house. Selling it was never part of the plan, but after ten months without an income I had no choice, and now that there’s an offer it has suddenly become very real, because it means letting go of this place that has held me and my kids through so much, and facing the fear of the known coming to an end, and of what comes next.

Gia, thank you for seeing me so clearly, and for giving me a glimpse of what my own kids might one day see when they look back at these years.

❓Have you ever had to let go of something familiar before you knew what was waiting on the other side? I’d love to hear your story in the comments❓

We got this 💪 Much love 💗

the older I get, the less interested I am in “success” that still requires women to abandon themselves to sustain it.

that was never freedom.

that was just a more socially celebrated form of self betrayal.

some women want flexibility.

some women want extra income.

the women I build with want something deeper.

they want sovereignty.

and those are very different conversations.

These 3 women right here. 🤍✨

Created a space where every single woman felt truly seen.

And honestly, it’s hard to explain unless you’ve experienced it yourself.

When another woman looks into your eyes and sees beyond the masks, beyond the stories, beyond who you’ve been pretending to be…

When she sees your heart.
Your wounds.
Your light.
Your magic.

And meets all of it with love.

No judgement.

No competition.

No agenda.

No need to fix you.

Just a genuine devotion to the work.

The work that isn’t about ME

It’s about WE

Because as women, we carry something incredibly powerful.

Whether we choose to bring children into the world or not, we all have the capacity to birth something.

Love.
Healing.
Truth.
Compassion.
Connection.

And humanity desperately needs more of that.

Each of these women brought their own unique medicina to Metamorphosis.

Their own magic.
Their own wisdom.
Their own gifts.

They held us.

They challenged us.

They questioned us.

They celebrated us.

They sat with us in the darkness, in the silence, in the uncertainty and in the storm.

Never trying to rescue us from it.

Simply trusting that we were capable of finding our own way through.

They were loving.
Patient.
Nurturing.
Ferocious.
Powerful.
Vulnerable.
Compassionate.
Brutally honest.

And complete and utter magic.

The ripple effect of the work you three are doing reaches far beyond the women who sat in that room.

Because when a woman remembers who she truly is, everyone she touches benefits.

Thank you for seeing us.

Thank you for holding us.

Thank you for reminding us of the light we carry.

And thank you for creating Metamorphosis. ✨🧚‍♀️🤍
