life lately on 35mm film 🫶🏻

i sat in on a webinar yesterday that covered the state of the industry, and one topic the panelists kept coming back to was how important it is for wedding industry professionals to take care of themselves, both mind and body. i have to constantly remind myself that i’m not a robot, and that it’s okay to take a break and not be glued to my laptop 24/7. to rest, to spend quality time with friends and family, to leave space for novelty, spontaneity, and fun.

experiencing these moments allows me to show up with a full heart and feel inspired on wedding days. i like to think of myself as less of a vendor and more like another friend in the room who just so happens to have a camera (or seven, because i have too many film cameras and i love them all).

featured sweet moments:
— the cutest backyard shower for baby potter
— seeing old friends & celebrating new ones
— driving 3 hours south to see one of my favorite artists with great company
— exploring a new city with my recently engaged friends, being silly, eating, and drinking to our hearts’ content

Loved a lot and learned a lot at SER-AMTA 2026 Music Therapy Conference in Charlotte, NC. Can’t ask for more getting to see my friends/peers (yall know who you are!) and my family. Until next year!
