Happy 30th Birthday to my beautiful daughter. 💖🎉
Today was supposed to simply be about celebrating YOU… enjoying life, making memories, and spending time together at an outing you wanted to attend. But God had other plans.
When we witnessed a crash nearby, you immediately ran toward the scene without hesitation to make sure everyone was okay. In that moment, I saw exactly who you are — compassionate, selfless, calm, and called to serve others. 👩🏽‍⚕️✨
You’ve only been a nurse for a little over a year, but your heart for people speaks louder than words ever could. Even on your birthday, you answered the call.
As your mother, I couldn’t be more proud of the woman you’ve become. Your strength, kindness, and dedication inspire not only me, but everyone blessed enough to know you.
Thank God everyone involved was okay, and thank God for giving this world a nurse with a heart like yours.
Happy 30th Birthday, daughter. Keep shining, keep caring, and keep walking in your purpose. 💕✨ #30thbirthday #proudmom #nurselife💊💉 #birthdaygirl #navydaughter⚓💜🇺🇲

There are moments as a business owner that fill my cup, but nothing compares to the pride of being a mom. ⚓️💙

Yesterday, we got the call: My daughter—a nurse for just over a year—was honored with the DAISY Award. For those who don’t know, this is one of the highest honors in nursing, given to those who provide extraordinary, compassionate care.

She is the true definition of a “Hero,” and the inspiration behind everything we do at Steady Anchor™. We are taking her out to celebrate her heart and her hard work, and of course, let her pick out her favorite piece from our Heroes collection.

Drop a “🙌🏽” in the comments to help us celebrate our favorite healthcare hero! 🩺✨

From my heart to her hands. ⚓️🩺 There is nothing like seeing my “Nurse Life” collection in the hands of the woman who inspired so much of it. My daughter, the nurse, is out there winning her battles every day, and I designed this mug to remind her (and you!) that nursing isn’t just a job—it’s an identity. Shop the clear glass collection at the link in my bio.

Sunday is for quiet moments and deep gratitude. ⚓️✨

Looking at the shop this morning, I was struck by how much of my own journey is woven into every piece of Steady Anchor™. Whether it’s the resilience I learned as a Navy Wife or the dedication I see in the nursing community every day, these aren’t just “products” to me. They are tributes.

When I wrote “I Lived, I Fought, I Won,” it was about finding that steady anchor in the middle of life’s storms. Today, seeing my gear featured on MSN and reaching so many of you feels like that mission is coming full circle.

To my military family and my nursing heroes: Thank you for letting me be a small part of your story.

Don’t forget—our One Day Site-Wide Sale is happening this Thursday, March 19th! It’s my way of honoring the heartbeat of service. 🩺⚔️

Links to the Etsy shop and my book retailers are in the bio. Enjoy your Sunday!

Few weeks ago, I created a collage for my co-worker’s mom, who is a big Prince fan, and happens to share the same birthday as him (June 7th). I added the paisley afterwards, because I thought it was a nice touch 😜

Happy Heavenly @prince
