@tipdip21 I’ve said it before but I’d be remiss if I didn’t say it again: To this day, I don’t know if our high school classmates knew just how close we actually were in high school. How beautifully platonic and creative 🎶 our relationship was in times my friends were my family, you were my sister (more like my damn mama sometimes), Me spending the night at Hill house MANY NIGHTS, us squeezing into the Tanika’s red neon to get to bike rally, our pillow talk, play fights/“jumping” in field in front of the school (which is now a damn parking lot), senior skip day (Carowinds), drive by water fun fights w/ Thad & @ohmrleemrleemrlee , fights between you and & Audi at y’all house 😂 ..
O, and how we use to LAUGH at shit 😂
I could always be me with you. It was your acceptance, love, loyalty and COOKING (O, and you gave me the best braid styles EVER. You never ask for a damn cent!
Not to mention my faded sides with hair on top was frown upon then BUT is a thing NOW ..but that’s another story for another day ...anyway...)

YOU KNOW THEY HATED TO SEE US AT A TALENT SHOW- ANYWHERE (... North Rowan Lol )- GOOD AS FIRST PLACE 🏆
REMEMBER Salisbury High Back History Club talent show/ “Say My Name” senior year, they tried to give us 2nd place to some white boy and the crowd wasn’t having it! 😂
They damn shol gave us our prize money when we got to school Monday!

I was so appreciative of your friendship then and even more now that we are adults. You have always been a special person in my life . I hope from the last time I saw you/our last talk that you understand what you still mean to me today. Those kids couldn’t have a better mom! I hope they know (whispers: they won’t until they are older -just how we were lol)
And I get to see you all weekend?! 😊
HAPPY BEARTHDAY‼️
