Kenyan artist @musyimitheartist just dropped his debut album, "eighteen" 🔥

He is a Nairobi-based Afro-R&B singer, songwriter, and producer, recognized for his genre-fluid sound that blends soulful R&B, Afrobeats, hip-hop, and experimental influences, transforming his emotions, stories, and memories into deeply personal music.

The album, named after the age he was when he completed it, was created over three years and reflects a defining chapter in Musyimi's life. Spanning 12 tracks, he assumes three roles: artist, producer, and curator. He collaborated with 13 artists and 11 producers, recording in Nairobi and Arusha to reconnect with the places and memories of his upbringing.🔥

Musyimi is part of a new generation of Kenyan artists pushing Afro-R&B in exciting new directions. "eighteen" is available now on all streaming platforms. Let us know what your favorite track is‼️🔥

Snowball had the privilege of hosting @umeastafrica ‘s 2nd Annual Mashariki Speaks Writing Camp 🎶

From the writing sessions to the listening party, it was amazing to see the music come to life and no one knows how to celebrate the songs quite like the people who wrote them🙂‍↕️

We had such a great time hosting all the incredible artists and writers who came through. Thank you for filling the studio with so much creativity, music and good energy. 🤍
