The 5th Annual Lakehouse Food and Wine Festival returned to San Marcos, California, on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Checked out @fleurettesd last night ✨ a beautiful, sun-soaked French Riviera–inspired spot rooted in that whole “cuisine du soleil” concept—light, seasonal, and very coastal 🌿

The ambiance & service were incredible (truly felt like a little escape to the South of France), but we were a bit unsure navigating the menu. There are small bites, apps, and “smaller” mains—though my chicken could have definitely fed two people. :)

Definitely feels like a place designed for lingering, ordering a lot, & doing it right the second time… so we’re already planning a return.
