If you tell my mum let’s go to dinner she will only budge if it’s her bday or another’s celebration. I had to tell her we’re going grab something on the way home making it sound like it was a likkle patty or suh’um small! 🤣🤣

If you’re always torn between Thai, Korean, Indian or Chinese food… why not have them all in one meal? 👀🥢

TIRAK is a modern Asian Kitchen & Café bringing together flavours from across Asia, with a menu that’s perfect for sharing and trying a little bit of everything.

We started with the Okra Fries, which were light, crispy, and coated in the chef’s signature spice blend that made them incredibly moreish. The Crispy Chilli Beef was another favourite, perfectly crunchy and coated in a sticky sweet chilli and timur pepper sauce with just the right balance of sweetness and heat.

For mains, the Isan Gai Yaang was beautifully chargrilled, with juicy chicken and a delicious garlic, herb and honey glaze. The King Prawn Green Curry was rich and creamy, while the Beef Kosha Masala delivered deep, slow-cooked flavours with tender beef in a thick, aromatic masala that was perfect with the flaky paratha.

We also loved the Garlic Fried Pak Choi, which added a fresh contrast to the richer dishes.

Dessert was the perfect ending. The Miso Caramel Cheesecake had a delicious balance of sweet and savoury, with roasted pecans adding plenty of crunch, while the Mango Cardamom Panna Cotta was silky, refreshing, and finished beautifully with toasted coconut.

From the warm service to the wide variety of dishes, TIRAK is one of those places that’s perfect for sharing with friends so everyone gets to try a bit of everything. Definitely one to add to your list if you’re craving Asian flavours all under one roof. 🤍

A lovely brunch spot in Clapham Common with great food, cocktails and a really cosy atmosphere.

We ordered the avocado on sourdough with sausages, the Turkish English breakfast and the Eggs Royale. Everything was fresh and really well done.

The interior was one of my favourite parts so cosy, and beautifully decorated for Pride too. 🌈🍳🍸

Finally tried Tirak and we got the hype 👏

Started with their famous Okra Fries, Chargrilled Sweet Chilli Corn Ribs, Chicken Momo’s and Crispy Chilli Beef. They were ALL 10/10, seasoned to perfection and so moreish, especially those momo’s! Don’t skip the starters in this spot😍

For mains we had the Chicken Green Curry, King Prawn Green Curry and the Penang Chicken Laksa and they were all honestly unreal. Rich, comforting, spicy in the best way and perfect portions. The veg and the blend was unique, we’ve never had it this way before but it really works and was so delish. We also got a Paratha which sweeped up them saucy bowls nicely ;). The drinks were perfect to wash it all down with too.

Such a good spot for Asian fusion in Clapham — cosy but modern vibes, great presentation and food that actually lives up to the aesthetic. Would 100% go back 🥰
