After more than a decade here, I'm still discovering new reasons to love this community. From a pottery class with Joanna Kramer Ceramics, organized through Support Evanston Shops, and exploring the new Space to Place and Alley Gallery, to Tired Mom Yoga at the beautiful Harley Clarke Mansion, celebrating International Women's Day with an inspiring group of women, and cheering on Northwestern at the opening game at the new Ryan Field — there's always something happening! What I'm not loving quite as much lately? Making Instagram content. 😂 The irony of putting together this Reel is not lost on me. But I'm excited for tomorrow's Reel editing workshop with the new Wheeling and Mount Prospect chapter of Professional Moms. Maybe just the inspiration I need! Here's to supporting local businesses, making connections, trying new things, and loving where you live. 💙 #EvanstonIL #LoveEvanston #ShopLocalEvanston #SupportLocal #KatFosterInteriors

One of our biggest learnings from the moms in our community: it’s easier to build real connections when you’re meeting people whose schedules and day-to-day rhythms look like yours. So this fall, we’re trying something new - separate gatherings for working moms and stay-at-home moms. For this one, join us for a morning of yoga + connection with other working moms in a similar season of life. We’ll start with a one-hour class led by Tired Mom Yoga, then stick around for a drink and time to connect. 📍 Double Clutch Brewing 📅 October 25 at 10:30am 🎟️ Ticket includes yoga + one drink Link in bio to join!
